That being said, knowing that people around the organization take a peek on here, I think we should show him just a little bit more respect because he is still a Hawk until further notice.
There is something to be said when you begin to mentally and verbally separate yourself from a person, place or thing. It no longer holds value because you have moved on. And I see too many who have pushed him out the door prematurely while he is still in a Hawks uniform. He has done too much for this organization to be dismissed in that way.
Once a trade does happen, we can go there. Until then, he has been a consummate pro and leader. He has kept quiet through every trade rumor. He has always represented the Hawks and himself with class.
That deserves a bit more respect if you ask me. Let’s do our part.
Thanks Dad.

It seems like more moves to come, like you guys said. Bogi played better. I think we've seen enough of Kevin and apparently the Hawks did too.

Ayton has a say in it. I wouldn’t want to go there after all this, but I guess if they’re offering him the max, I can’t blame him.
If the Hawks want him, time for Trae to do some more recruiting.

My source said we have been talking to SAS since before the trade deadline for a Murray deal. Deflected any other questions. Did tell me to "make sure you watch the draft, expect some fireworks"
I love it when sources think they are Rodney Dangerfield or something. Kids still know who that is, right?
Back to School is one of my favorite movies!

Hawks keep stockpiling young talent. Gotta love it!!! Lookin' forward to the next moves.

When I watched Ayo's highlights, he moves a lot like SGA to me.
And then I looked at his measurements and stats and they are very similar.

Olimpia Milano turned with decision on Shelvin Mack for the point-guard position. The former Butler Bulldogs is under contract with Atlanta Hawks for 884.293 $, but his contract is not-guaranteed. Atlanta seems intentioned to cut him because the pick of Dennis Schröder and the matched offer for Jeff Teague close the doors for him in the point-guard position. The other name is Curtis Jerrells, but will be the second choice only if Mack turns out to be impossibile to sign.

MIL & ATL were top two pursuers after Spurs withdrew qualifying offer to make Neal unrestricted free agent. Deal w/Bucks now expected today

He is far from Zaza. Zaza is a decent NBA center who is tough, rebounds well, has a respectful post game who just happens to be undersized, unathletic and not greatly skilled. Zaza would be a beast in Europe while he is a role player in the NBA. This guy is a role player in Europe and will likely be a bum in the NBA. Most Euros see him as a PF.
Man I hope we never sit next to each other at a game. Sheesh!

He's not a rebounding machine, but he can hold his own... I don't see him as a starter, but rather a decent back-up who can allow Bud to extend his rotations and have a couple of extra fouls off the bench.
I hope that he'll be able to contribute, because he's got experience from Euroleague and International basketball... I'd say that his stat line would look like this: 15 - 20 mpg, 7-8 ppg, 5-6 rpg.
I'll take it. If hes Zaza 2.0 with range and minus the acne on his shoulders, why not?

So you want a bad teammate bro? Do you guys are always try to turn everything into a positive. This reminds more of HS defending Smoove bad jumpers till it became evident that we aren't going to win with Smoove bad jumpers.
I wanted Josh Smith gone years ago sir. And we could use a few more dirt bags on this team. Don't take it so seriously :)

They'd be like a Ron Simmons and Nikkita Kolaff tag team.
...and we already have the junkyard dog (Carroll)!

I sure hope that nobody has any type of expectations from him other than to be a body off the bench to get fouls and give the starters rest. I didn't realize he was 31 though. But that's interesting inside info about him. Sounds like he's a OG to the core!
Had 2 good years because he got playing time?
And he stole his teammates girl, because he could?
Thats the kinda guy I want on the court.

Where did you read that he can board very well? I'm satisfied if that's the case. The source from Buzz says he's not much of an offensive rebounder, and his stats suggest he's fairly pedestrian overall.
Read it on his Wiki:
Antić's best offensive attributes are his body strength, jump shot and dunking ability. He is adept at pick and roll play, which coupled with the unusually good three-point shooting accuracy for a player of his position, makes him a scoring danger from all distances. While he's not a prolific scorer, he also possesses decent passing skills, adding to his offensive contribution. The defensive part of the game is considered to be his finest attribute. Antić's anticipation, positioning and overall athleticism make him one of the most powerful rebounders in Europe. He also demonstrated particular determination and confidence when guarding opposition star players, such as Dirk Nowitzki and Pau Gasol at the EuroBasket 2011.

Don't let highlight mix reel fool you. He's a team-first player, who always knows his role. He a solid defender in the post, because he's got strength and experience, just don't expect him to block a lot of shots, 'cause he ain't a shot-blocker.
I read that he can board very well. So he starts with AL, right? And Brand backs up Pero (and Paul backs up AL)?
Guess this means no Oden.
We've got to manufacture a wing form somewhere. Stevenson is the fall back plan i guess :/

Bucks, Hawks chasing Elson
Posted: Friday August 08, 2008 06:59AM ET
Francisco Elson could move into the backup center role behind Andrew Bogut, if a deal can be struck between the Bucks and the 7-foot native of the Netherlands. Sources said the Bucks are considering a potential two-year deal with Elson, who split time last season with the San Antonio Spurs and Seattle SuperSonics. Elson would give the Bucks a better offensive option than current backup Dan Gadzuric, also a native of the Netherlands. Elson is a good foul shooter and can face up and hit jump shots in the 15- to 18-foot range. Elson has received offers from FC Barcelona and the Atlanta Hawks, according to HoopsHype.com
I wasn't aware that we we pursuing this guy.
Me neither. We need all the help we can get.

I'd rather have crittenton then lowry. That could allow Acie to play off the ball sometimes as well as Bibby. Creating some different matchups.
