You guys are giving the Knicks way too much credit, and not giving the Bulls enough.

1. Spurs
2. Rockets
3. Sonics
4. Kings
5. Nuggets
6. Mavs
7. Suns
8. T-wolves

Let me see...
76'ers overrated at #3, playoffs but overrrated
Clevelend overrated, playoffs? No
NY Knicks, the new Hawks of the East
Chicago, underrated, will make playoffs
Milwaukee, cant wait to see Big John shut down Bogut

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I doubt Edwards or Batista will play in the NBDL since this team needs all the big bodys it can get.
-
You cant judge this guy based on one good tournament of nobodys. If this guy is a potential first rounder I guarantee someoneone besides us and GS would have offered him a contract worth something, like maybe first round money. Nobody is interested. We gave this guy fair market value(oh wait, there is no market). This guy is no first rounder, a second rounder only if Babcock was still around.

Well at least we got that cleared up.

Quote:John Edwards may be a "legitimate" 7', 275 lbs but unlike Batiste he in NO WAY resembles a legitimate player. When you lead a tournament (including this hemisphere's best including NBA talent such as Duncan) in rebounding, are 5th in scoring, 6th SPG, and 10th BPG at age 22 (all better than Tiago Splitter and Vareojo, two highly touted latin american big man, NBA quality prospects), you are worlds better than an average player at no name U. who just happens to be slightly taller.W
This tournament does not have this hemisphere's best including NBA talent such as Duncan. The USA team is made up of players from the NBDL and the CBA. There are a handful of players from the NBA on other teams but none who have proved anything. The talent here is marginal at best. He put up good numbers but if he is so good then why are the Hawks and Warriors the only ones interested, at a price of 900,000 for 2 years?

17-10 Horned Frogs

Second half all OU. Tied up 10-10. OU RB Peterson hurt right ankle.
-
I'm skeptical about us signing this guy until I hear more from a real source. It would be nice to get this guy.
-
Oklahoma is losing to TCU 10-0. They are handling OU so far. Lot of game left though.

You posted a trivia question and I gladly answered it, that baseball stat was the best I could find.

And your the one that will be crying foul when its a falcons defensive lineman that gets taken out.

Allow me to prove you wrong again,
NY Mets
1962-1965 Manager Casey Stengel
1963 51-111 .315
1962 40-120 .250
Combine first two seasons 91-322 thats 28%.
I had to dig a little bit deeper for that one, since its rare a MLB team wins less than 30% of its games.
http://cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/teams/history/NYM
But I must agree with you that Woody needs to double his wins to keep his job, which I think he will do.

He scores points too.

I have found 2 and could find more, how many would you like?
And that is just the NBA, you said all professional sports.
-
How about Bill Fitch in his first 2 seasons in cleveland.
1971 CLE 15-67 .183
1972 CLE 23-59 .280
That is a record of 38-164, thats only 23%. As you know he went on to coach many more years and never had a winning season until his six with the cavs.
-
I can think of one in recent memory:
Don Nelson in his first 2 years as head coach of the Mavericks went 34-132.
1997-98 20-62
1998-99 14-36 The year was short but it still counts.
Giving him a total in his first two years as head coach a record of 34-132, thats 25.7%. As you know he continued to coach the team for more years.

Thats a different report than the one posted above.
-
If Woody doubles his wins next season then his winning % for the first two years would be only 24%. He would have to win 36 games next year to make it over your 30%.

Good one

Huskers! Go Big Red!
John Edwards at Kent
in Homecourt
Posted
"I watched him go from an athletically handicapped player who looked lost into a athletically challenged player"
Thats funny!
"Sounds more to me like a poor man's Joel Pryzbilla or Adonyl Foyle. "
A poor mans poor man, even funnier!
Seriously, this guy has some value, I believe he has some athletic ability to alter a few shots in the lane and grab a couple boards. 7'4" wingspan. For a cool mil per year, its worth a shot.
