First, let me apologize for any confusion with your ticket orders. We use a third party (Ticketmaster) for our ticketing transactions, and in our efforts to get everyone the best possible seating for the game there was a technical error that caused some of the accounts to be cancelled. This error has since been rectified and all of the accounts have been restored. An email will be sent out later today to those affected fans apologizing for the error. Again, sorry for the inconvenience this has caused some of you and thanks for sticking with us.
Second, thank you to all of you loyal Hawks fans that took advantage of my offer for the game against the Clippers on November 10th. Between Hawksquawk and RealGM 575 tickets were purchased via my offer, which is greatly appreciated.
I was at training camp all weekend. We have a lot of young legs and Coach is running them. In one scrimmage, Esteban (he wants us to call him "Steve") got popped and blood started gushing from his nose. He rushed off the court (everyone assume to get attention from the trainer) and returned a minute later with toilet paper stuffed in his nose. When the toilet paper fell out and blood started flowing again, he ran off, only to return seconds later with fresh toilet paper shoved up his nose. I am thinking we might have to have a night where all the fans bring a roll of toilet paper for him.
I don't want to get caught up in hype because it's way too early, but these are spirited sessions. The attitude is completely different than last year's camp.
I look forward to seeing all of you at Philips Arena this season – especially on Thursday, November 10th vs. the Clippers.
Bruce
