Maybe it is me, but why is everyone except most of us here think the Atlanta Hawks should be in the mix to make the playoffs?? Some of these previews have us 12 or 13 in the east. I think that is flat out wrong. This team is going to surprise some people. Also, my only concern with Atlanta is the 1 and 2 guard. We really don't have a true point guard. Jason can play point but he is really a 2 guard in a 1 guard body. Newble is good defensively but he is not the scorer you want at the 2 guard. Dion can score but he isn't good defensively and he is not a true outside threat. Shooting Guard is our main weakness in my eyes. That was so evident in the Miami game I saw in Pre-season. Everything else seem to be good except the 2 guard. Your thoughts??

This is the best trade for the Hawks in years. This puts them in the elite in the Eastern Conference. This trade has put us over the hump. What was Milwaukee thinking?? They got Robbed badly. He was there go to player. Milwaukee is screwed!! Go out and by tickets they deserve it now!!! Go Hawks!!

I have read a lot of trade talk involving Dion Glover. I would not trade Dion for several reasons. 1. This is just his 3rd year in the league. 1 1/2 years of that he didn't play because of injuries. So he is just now probably getting the true feel of the NBA game. 2. He is an exceptional young talent that will get better and better. 3. He can score as a slasher. He doesn't really have a good jump shot but it is improving everytime I see him. 4. This should be his breakout year with the Hawks. I bet after this year (if they keep him), we will be very pleased with his production. All I am saying is give Dion Glover one more year before we ship him away in a deal.

That would be a terrible, terrible trade. If he trades JT (one of our stars) again Babcock is a complete idiot. Didn't he learn from the Steve Smith deal?? Don't trade anymore of our stars. Build around them!!
