What is going on? I've kept my mouth shut... But we keep winning. Let's finish off the Pistons.... But damn. I'm a little confused...
-
He's one of my favorite players ever. Total team player. He's old! Still getting better....

Dennis is playing behind a potential all-star... It's hard to get significant minutes behind Teague. I don't think it's a bad thing, he's so young. Hell, Teague is too I guess.. Good problem.

I don't think it's about "peaking"... We're just legitimately good. They're a good team. Homer or not, they show it...
-
I hate reading and talking about it... Makes me sick.
-
Dominique Wilkins is my favorite player of all time. I watched him as a kid dunk crazy, and bank in three's. He can do and say whatever he wants... Hawks lore.

They are all welcome to join in on things.Strange. Winning seems to be a big predictor of fanbase. Whoda thunk it?
It's getting close to where "band wagoners" are gonna hitch a ride. Whatever. Cool.
A decade of Squawk has shown me where the true fans are...

I'm old.. We've never won a stretch of games like this, vs West, or anyone... It's hard for me to comprehend. I love it, just surreal!

I'm not used to this... Not with our Hawks from the past. Well, keep it rolling!!!

Danny and Bud deserve a lot of the credit, obviously., of this start. I got to give as much to the players. Not one gives a sh@t about individual accolades. Total unselfishness. For example, I know Horf is playing back into shape... But he's not having a good year stat wise. He doesn't complain. Thabo doesn't score, but he doesn't care... 10 boards and great defense....I guess what I'm saying is these guys like each other and are having fun.

Y'know...it figures, for 30 years I have been such a positive and devoted fan. I have argued people down, been laughed out of so many conversations, and stayed true through it all...
LOL, and the one year that I give up on my team (and yes people, I gave up)... The one year I give up, they decide to be badass. I always believed that if you could get a bunch of REALLY good players together, that you could contend. I just didn't believe that this particular collection of players could do it. Boy was I wrong. I still can't shake the fear of the playoffs, but it's time for me to give this team it's due.
GOOD JOB DANNY FERRY. We are the Spurs-East and I totally see it now. Can't wait for the post season...omg. Can't believe this is happening right now.
Knock on wood. I'm enjoying the ride. Being a fan as long as you, there's always something that fuks it all up... I hope not, cuz it's fun ...

@benhillboy is correct, Millsap is not eligible for an extension since he signed a 2 year deal.
Ohhh... Gotcha...
-
Great win!!! I think it's about time to offer Sap an extension. We're playing awesome, he fits the system to a "t".. He doesn't have to think about it, the team wouldn't either... Get it over with.

15-2 at home, Portland. It's gonna be a tough one...

I hear ya,... But to me, a 7 game series is a race, 82 games is a marathon. Personally, there's a long way to go, first ine East means nothing. By the end of January we could be fourth.Well I agree to a point - but really - a marathon IS a race. And the better you do early the better position you are in later.
Take last night as a fer-instance...we lose that game and nobody really cares as far as our position. We win that game and it doesn't make us favourites for the NBA finals. But that one win at Utah will show up on the stat sheet as a win - doesn't matter how pretty it was (or wasn't) - road win in the NBA...they aren't cheap.
GO HAWKS !!
-
Great start to 2015.
It is a great start, the whole season... Cliche coming, it's a marathon, not a race...

Watching them under Bud, there's no selfish needs. They play together, listen to their coaches... I respect that from millionaires and grown men.
-
You mean for his FT%?
I think that's a part, sure. His overall game isn't consistent... Could be age, I dunno. He still makes us a better team, I'm not hating.
-
This might be generic, but he's prolly tired. Horf's been injured, during his tenure. He's carrying the load. With Teague...
-
Teague leads the team in scoring and he also has the most 20 pt plus games. Don't come with this consistency stuff again. He is consistent enough to lead the team in scoring.
I'm not disagreeing with you, in fact, I agree. I think there are too many point guards that are gonna get the nod, votes, whatever to leave Teague out. It sucks because I think Blink has contributed of how Sap has become better. Paul and Jeff both deserve it, but we won't get both. Horf just needs a year to stay healthy... No all star this year.
-
Back spasms... My as@. He's frustrated. Plain and simple. For the last 5 years, I'd contemplate a number one pick in fantasy, over Durant, Lebron.... You we're guaranted 20 pts, 10 boards. If not more.
LeBron and Irving. That ain't happening. He's not used to it.
-
If we don't have a complete disaster, we have an All-Star. Is it Sap or Blink?.... My weights are heading towards Paul. Not that Jeff doesn't deserve it.... A lot of good PG's....Teague is one of our best three players.
-
Cavs are short handed....but there's still Bron, and other pretty damn good players... Let's see!
-
When Jason Kidd became coach in Brooklyn a day after he retired, I laughed.... Side show act. All the "stars" , Russian Cuban's money... Rappers. Joke.Yeah, I thought the same but wasnt exactly sure only seeing parts of the game. Kidd has them boys playing well. They should be favored to win most of their games against mediocre and below competiton even suffering through jumbled lineups.
But I have to give him credit now, small sample size, but maybe he can coach some. What he's done with Milwaukee, is somewhat impressive... So far.

Al cannot make clutch FTs to save his life!

Yeah he missed a couple... We still won the game. He does enough of other things. He's not Shaq at the line, geez....
