Traceman I agree with you. No way do we ship JT for GP. Never trade proven developing youth for a player who is one to two seasons away to becoming ineffective. JT may very well be the next GP or better. We have a decade to find out.

Slim is the emerging power defender with a good offensive game to boot He will be my choice. Dion would be good for instant offense, but from my observations he still seems to be trying to find himself. Ira I would keep around just for his D, but I would not start him.

How in the real world is this going to help the Bucks??? My sentiments are that they are in for some tough rebuilding years as TT cracks from all the pressure and TK only plays for half of the season due to injury. Talking about gambling this trade is like buying World-com stock options at $50 betting that they will go up. Trading him (Tony) was the right thing to do but to get Glen Robinson in return borders on genius.

If Big Dawg comes to the court with a chip on his shoulders ready to shut up his critics, that would be frosting on the cake. As already posted the trade moves many of our existing players in positions where they will be most productive. Lon should not have to struggle to figure out who will be the most productive on the court with three all-stars up front. Bottom line----goooooooooood trade.

Now that talent is becoming less of an issue, the big question of the day is our coaching staff. Are we as talented there as we need to be to make a run this year for the playoffs and E.C. Finals? My thoughts are that we are weaker than we need to be but I want Lon to prove me wrong. It will be interesting to see how Lon works with his new found talent and continue to develop his young talent. The youngsters may find it hard to get playing time with the playoff promise in the air. The Sage wonders if we can find good assistant coaches who will encourage the development of the Hawks resurection?

I agree with you pal, JT assists will rise along with his points as he gets cleaner looks at the basket. Reef will benefit from having another weapon on the floor. I doubt that chemistry will be a problem because Big Dog will still be a Big part of the the Hawks O like he was in Mil.

Well about now Ira is "green" with envy instead of green with money. I say we get him to sign on as cheaply as possible and ride Reef and Dog to the playoffs. Go Hawks

If we can have this type of D in the middle all season we may cause some "ripples" in the east. I think we are one to two players away from being legit contenders.
