read last night Bynum is gettin upset about playing time and his touches.. moves Horf to PF for good and finally a quality C

I am believing he (coach Drew) is not the best/right guy for this group. Either he is to be replaced or players to be traded. Otherwise we all are wasting our time expecting this group to be more than mediocre when it matters.

Agreed. This teams got no heart at all besides Horford. Its time to make a move and get rid of Smith to bring in out dominant center or pg bc with this team were going nowhere.

With such a dramatic trade Orlando now has to deal with building chemistry again. That being said I like the trade for them. Richardson is a talent and Areanas can really be a weapon (depending on if his head is on straight). Hedo has a great history with the Magic. Although, losing Gortat should be interesting. Carter and Lewis has been having off years.

our chances of besting them are reduced. this team just got ALOT better. vince carter is used up and is way past his best. and Hedo fits perfectly into the offense for orlando and that is why they brought him back so you really do not have to worry about building team chemistry since he has played so well here before. IMO richardson is a upgrade from carter to. And i think we are all forgetting how good Arenas used to be. He was one of the best players in the league before his knee problems and can still shoot the ball pretty good. The only drawback for Orlando is losing Gortat as you said.

Dumb decisions like playing Joe before allowing adequate practice time and leaving Marvin Williams in the starting lineup over a Center when Joe did indeed return are a microcasm of why the Hawks get destroyed every year come playoff time by good teams who have time to game plan for the Hawks.

SO starting Josh at SF is smart? Look back to the Boston game (a good defensive team) where he got shutdown and couldnt hit a shot. Pretty pathetic. Especially after Marvin scored 26 against Boston. If u think starting Collins at Center everygame is the solution to our problems, your an idiot. Agreed. And im tired of seeing jc2 inactive everygame. its worse than the treatment acie and teague were getting from woody. the kid can flat out shoot and is a scorer.

Has anyone seen Marvin playing the four when we go small with the second unit? He looks comfortable down there. He has had some nice blocks and displayed a nice plethora of post up moves. He still isn't knocking down his jumpshots but woody needs to consider doing this a lot more. That line up kept us in the game for a while. I am just mad we didn't go back to it often. Bibby and JJ needs to start recognizing when other players are in the groove. We don't need to feed it to JJ everytime sheesh. When ever josh or marvin had their forward posted up on the block they had difficulty stopping it. Yet we never went back to it. I know I wasn't the only one that saw this.

Sorry, but playing Marvin at the 4 for large amounts of time will not work. You say we did good at this last game, but did you see how much we got out-rebounded by. Marvin should be coming off the bench. He really has not played well at all this year besides maybe one game.

That was seriously the worst trade they could have made.

Both of them are very talented players, its a shame neither has come to us yet, we could use both of them on our team right now.

Akyol, 6-6 SG-SF, he can dribble, penetrates very often, draws fouls, shoots very well and is a pesky defender. would be a great back up SF for us.

Andersen, 6-11.5, PF-C, has a lean frame so wouldnt be much of a banger, but shoots well as we all know, can PASS, and contributes on the glass. would be a welcomed scorer to our offensively limited froncourt.

Too bad Akyol probably never will come, and we are still holding our breath on Andersen. makes me wonder why I even bothered posting this. If we ever get either though, they would add some great dimensions to our roster.

Dont get me wrong, they are both probably good athletes..

Joe can play D.. thats why at the end of games you see him switch over and guard a D Wade or a Paul Pierce

As a Hawks freak I always say we have a chance at winning it all!

But in a true sense, prolly not...we would have to add that one more huge player...if we added someone like Amare then I would say yes yes yes...

i still do not think we would be able to win the east. we may be athletic and able to score, but our defense would be terrible and we would have a hard time getting alot of rebounds
