My thoughts after watching the game:

    1. Trae Young is highly skilled in passing and court awareness. (Pinpoint passing)

I was like, damn! This dude can pass. Our summer league team sucks at shooting the ball. Trae should have has about 18 assists lol

But seriously, do is mad skills with his court vision. The shooting will come. He isn't afraid to drive the ball either. I can see him getting a lot of fouls with that little body driving to the basket.

I just wish he wouldn't have stopped himself from flipping Grayson on the court. Those Utah homers calling the game sucked! smh

Not with the new lottery odds.

Top 3 picks all have the same odds 14%

    Picks 4 - 6 are only 5% away

In the old system, the worst team had a 25% chance of picking 1st, and a 37% chance of picking 4th.

In this new system, the worst team has a 14% chance of picking 1st, and a 48% chance of picking 5th.

dang! Well... we will mos def be top 3. lol

Didn't think he would opt out and leave $28 mil on the table.

With both him and Daryl Arthur picking up their option, Denver is now over the cap and will be into the Luxury Tax after resigning Jokic.

Hawks will be in position to take on salary dumps for an asset.

Can the Hawks take one of them, plus Michael Jr. ???  lol

He has had more impressive games and shots than the ones in the Alabama game

I'm pretty sure. That's why I'm like, if 17pts and 8 assist is a bad night for him in the NBA... I'm good with that.

  5. I'm trying to find some full games on our three draft picks. I came across this highlight of Trae's "bad game" against Alabama.

Man, I'm hyped about this kid. I'm praying I see some of this in an Hawks uniform. He does remain me of Curry with the quick shot. That ball is up and out of his hand very fast. He also has a very deadly step back shot, which I thinks helps him shoot over taller players. OOOOHHHH and the passing skills isn't that bad either lol

I think we have an all star!

  6. I'm a Hawks fan first. So I'm riding with Trae until I see it isn't working.

Fans wanted Doncic because of what he did in the Euro League. Well Trae did something no once has ever did in the college league... Lead the league in points and assists. That has to make you feel good as a Hawks fan.

Depends on if they hold on to some of the other vets.  I heard they were not going to trade Kevin Love.  If they can still keep Love & Thompson they should still come in the 10th or 11th seed range in the east.   Maybe they pick range would be around 11-13th in this scenario.

If they are the 13th worst team halfway through the season, you best believe they will tank the second half to make sure they get that draft pick

    Yes.

    Ha! lol smh

Now THAT I don't believe. This team's drafted too much like the Warroirs. Only our GM is responsible for that...

Oh and our coach liked Trae too, if you listened to the way Bob and Nique talked at the Hawks membership party.

I like having size at the SG position.  6'7" and he'll beef up from that 190 lbs he's at now.  I can't stand small-ball backcourts.  He can shoot, pass, and seems to have good awareness, court vision, and BBIQ.  Seems Bud Ball is still very much alive even though he isn't around anymore.

Maybe because in 2016 he was 6'5" and was a PG.
