  1. rice was lighting up jenkins, it was obvious jenkins hasnt adjusted to pace of game yet. But back issues for a jump shooter doesnt bode well, will be tough to find a buyer for him.

Patterson seemed in control, steady pace not playing fast or hyper. He got several deflections and steals, looked good overall.

  2. Not much of a value signing imo, but not against it. Even if we tank we need to use alot of our salary cap guys, forgot the percentage.

And you cant compare Batum's contract coming off a rookie deal with korvers; thats like comparing our great deal with horford to veteran PF/C contracts....to get horford or batum, you would need more than their salaries to pry them from the teams.

  3. Thing is about Dieng he said in DX combine interview that hes been only playing 6yrs. But hes pretty darn good for only 6yrs of experience playing basketball. Most say he doesnt have any upside because hes 23yrs old, but i think he has room to develop skillset even more. But yah, his frame; shoulder and legs look real skinny, not sure how much more weight he can put on, maybe 10-15lbs max.

  4. Edit, sorry meant Plumlee not zeller

Plumlee checks out statistically, athletically, and energy wise; but what worries me is the pick n roll defense that everyone says is a weakness. Has no recovery speed and opponents exploited it over and over to get by too easy. Compound that with weak shooting mechanics on offense and makes me hesitate alot.

These issues are going to be a sore spot for playing time with any coach.

  5. I would be happy with Defensive Big and SF/SG shooting wing with length for our two picks in the 1st round.

Dieng would definitely be one of my targets without moving up or down; the other pick could be swapped depending what BA wing with length is available. Not interested in projects until second round, plenty of shooting wings available in first round.

  6. 5 more days till signing period, seems everyone in a rush to forecast the future. There's plenty of time to balance out the roster; i mean every offseason we feel like the front office never makes enough moves anyways.Pretty much every organization is resistant to change; so not surprised to see people worried.

  7. For centers you got howard>bynum>Gasol; after that your looking to trade with Utah; or moving up into upper lottery for one of 3-4 C prospects coming out (hard to get, need top 7). Centers always slim pickings; but like i said 4 centers in lottery for 2013 draft most likely

  8. Hey guys, been so busy with syrian revolution stuff for last 16months, had to come out from lurking to post today. What do you guys think about trading the Houston 1st rd pick back to houston for one of their glut of forwards; i.e. parsons or royce white or combo terrence jones or even try for SG jeremy lamb? Problem with the pick is there's too much protections in it; essentially they got to make the playoffs for it to come to us which doesnt look promising with the Western Conf competitionAny thoughts?

  9. guaranteed contracts only for first 3yrs, or negotiated contract by contract basis.. If we cut dead weight players making big $$$ off each team, would free up alot of money in savings and for those more deserved. Maybe less trades as a consequence but more FA movements i think.

Just think of all the rosters with deadweight high $$$ contracts; arenas, marvin, baron, brand, at least 1 per team. Sure, teams are partly to blame for this predicament, but its also a product of the system.

  10. www.kinecthacks.net

The kinect is gonna revolutionize something other than gaming. The tech package for the price, sensors, microphones, cameras, is unbeatable. With microsoft leaving the drivers open to release/modification, the sky is the limit.

Yah their integrating it into a 3d porn game that is already out. You got virtual pianos, path finding robots using kinect, all kinds of crazy ideas. Check out the link.

  11. I dont mind Josh shooting jumpers, but i specifically remember one in the 4th, coming off a screen deep into post to the elbow and shooting a turnaround brick...one step at a time josh, set your feet with time!
