Flip is the kind of player I think we will be fine with having for one season and one season only. The guy has been really getting on Woodson bad side here of late. If Acie would learn how to play with confidence he might have no trouble with benching Flip for a few games just to send a message.
But how do you gain confidence when you're benched after 1 mistake? That's what usually happens to Solo and Acie. Youth = turnovers and how do you prove yourself playing only a few minutes per game? Murray's turnovers are often dangerous, he should be sub'ed after first one.

When the online ballot comes up around January 6th...........All Hawks fans
have to step to make this game national. goto http://www.nba.com/FanNight
Also, my inside sources are telling me March 19th Mavs vs Hawks at Philips could be a TNT game. The network may make the switch depending on the economy or strength of games at that point in the season.

I'd also recommend flashblock addon if everything else fails.

Flip loses confidence if he's told to slow down and share the ball. So you either let him do his crazy things, which worked more often than not so far, or he's lost and useless. I'd give him 5-15 mpg and free hand.

Man if Horford had played that game would've turned out differently...
Absolutely. Lack of post presence was one of major issues in this game.

He had good start, but later travelled, commited offensive foul and played disasterous defense against pick'n'roll when Barrea scored his 12 points.
Solo started also well but was benched after first mistake.

I take Johnson, because any chance would do good to this team. Woodson already told these guys all he knew probably 100 times. But AJ is not perfect. He stood behind Harris trade. Every coach has his favourite players and ones he doesn't like.

I still think Smith and Horford were best last night. Too bad they're both suited for the same position.

There is a total of 1599 turnovers with 1450 assists for all 24 teams. That is through 60 total league games so far. So the league has a .9068 assist to turnover ratio. The NBA in contrast:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2009.html
A total of 7372 turnovers with 10291 assists for all 32 teams. That is through 251 games so far. So the league has a 1.3960 assist to turnover ratio. There is a big difference in the NBA and the Euroleague so it isn't an apples to apples comparison when looking at these numbers.
Assists in Europe are not counted the same way as in NBA. In Europe only pass after which player scores without dribble counts as assist.

ZaZa is good defensive matchup against slower big guys like Shaq and good teammate. Brings positive energy.
But one thing I really don't like about him - his help defense. He usually leaves his guy open and either draws the foul on penetrating guy or lets him get easy assist.
And if he could jump, Smith wouldn't have sprained his ankle .

Too many early foul trouble games. I'm sure this will change with time.

He was also outstanding in first game against Raptors.
Very promising start of the season. Healthy and movtivated, Bibby is still top PG.

I don't know what happened to Marv. After not the best playoffs he had, he's incredible consistent shooter so far and it's joy to watch his smooth threes.

Smith's mid-range jumpshot is as ugly as his 3pt shooting. He HAS to work on it.
However his worst shot last night was airball from inside, 4 feet away from the basket.
