Geez. You would think this team was 13-69 again.
I don't get some of you guys. I understand the "they should be playing better"... "they give up" stuff, but geez.
It's one game... The Hawks lay an egg again on an ESPN game.. They played tight in the end. How about the fact that they came back to be ahead? Jason Kidd's technical is one big point, but that's a point between the Hawks winning and going to overtime.
Not blaming the game on that, but it's big... another big play was the 9-0 run with many non-call travels.
You win some you lose some.. It's not that the Hawks "didn't care"... They just didn't make shots and lost the game.
THEY LOST.. GET OVER IT GUYS.
The Hawks have been playing badly for a couple of months now. This team is pretty much falling apart, and we haven't even had any serious injuries to blame this on. That is why it is pretty concerning, same roster that was winning huge at the start of the season is now letting leads slip away and losing alot more games then we should. We are barely ahead of our pace for wins from last year accept this year we may have an even earlier exit in the playoffs if we go into them in a slump like this.

If his goal is to win a championship, I wouldn't blame him if he went somewhere like Cleveland or Dallas. If he goes to New York for more money, that would be really selfish.
If he wants to win the big one his best bet is to stay here. We have improved each year and actually made it to the second round last year and are probably the best team in the NBA this year. Anywhere else and he starts over, if he stays here we are already almost there.

The answer is simple, pay Joe whatever he wants to stay here. We could have a championship soon and that doesn't happen if Joe's walks no matter what we might get for him if anything. If this team really want to win the big one they need to keep our core unit together for at least another 3 years. If we lose Joe our entire team chemistry goes out the door and we almost start over.
Pay him what he wants and keep adding depth and we will win the champioship.
Marvin went to the bench with the Hawks up 10

If Marvin was a better overall player and actually matched 50% of his hype he wouldn't have been on the bench in the first place.
