  1. 100% agree, we have to take Bamba if Doncic is gone. I use to be all for Bagley but he and Collins together makes no sense. Bamba has the size to be a true Center, he defends and his offensive potential is there. Only thing Bagley has on him is more polished offense, that's it.

  2. The more I see of Reed and Dedmon I start to favor Dedmon. He seems like a better defender and solid player, Reed is no slouch but Dwayne just seems to be further along.

I know it's partly to do with Dwayne being on a better team but regardless. I really wanted Reed initially but Dwayne's stats and videos have convinced me he's the better option IMO.

I know it's bad when my biggest hopeful signing is currently Willie Reed. Since Schlenk has gone against every move I've wanted so far (including recently resigning Muscala) I'm sure he won't get Reed either smh... Still GO HAWKS and let's be the surprise team of the league this year (which we are sure to be if we come anywhere close to sniffing the playoffs.

First time in a long time if ever I'm already checking the mock draft for next year before the season even starts.

I have said a few times that Baze is pretty much the bad version of Josh Smith. Bad shots, bad passes. and gambling on defense.

Man oh man!! I have been telling people this for the longest time. He shouldn't be starting. Needs to be benched asap. Not bias just simple facts at this point.

  5. Not sire who he is and know you can't really judge off of highlight reels....but looks like a competent point guard who can shoot and distribute. This could be an under radar gem ala spurs signing...hopefully.

  6. Splitter isn't good at either of the things you mentioned and THJ is literally one of the worst defensive players in the NBA.

How is he not a good rebounder and decent rim protector? Sap is better at both...?

  7. This tired ole topic again? Man, the season can't start soon enough. Yes, we need a guy that the fans can get around and can give us 18 ppg, but don't expect the next Kobe to fall into our laps. I'm feeling we will draft our scoring SG/SF in 2014. Since it's Danny doing the drafting, it'll probably be Dario Saric. I would hope we go American for a scorer because Americans tend to be more physical, but I know a lot would love to see us take a certain Canadian...

Since when are Canadians not "Americans" ?...sorry I couldn't resist

  8. "not cleveland"?? I am in Cleveland all the time. I was out running and ran by baron davis downtown. he was walking along and nobody had a clue who he was. also a much smaller market than atl. we win and people will come. in 10 years (lets hope) atlanta can build an identity as a city- it is still in flux.

Hasn't that been the point of all my post? We have our own identity and problems. We can't look at another city and team and try to use their methods for success and try to apply it here. We have our own unique problems that can only be solved by identifying them first then deciding on the best solutions to the problem. While I do believe the San Antonio method best suits us, we have to keep in mind that we have to not only change the team's culture but the fan and league perceptions as well.

  9. The think you fail to realize GABALLA is I'm talking about TRADES. TRADING UP Using Talent. IN that case, it doesn't matter who your fanbase is or what a FA think. IF you have failed to read it, read it now... I can care less about the draft or FAcy except as a means to get players that either want to be here and fit or that we can trade. TRADE... is independent of all these little excuses you keept throwing out there. Trade is only dependent on the amount of talent we have. Believe me, I have thought this out over time. We will not get better by hoping we can pick the right player and then hoping we can develop him before his contract runs out. For us, the draft does not yield superstars. However, trades can.

    TRADES...

    YES. Finally, you see!!

And how do we get those players who would be worth such a trade? You guessed it, through the draft. We have to draft a superstar or develop drafted talent worthy enough to be traded for a superstar....which goes hand and hand with trading to move up in the DRAFT to DRAFT a superstar :)

But there would have to be a perfect situation for a team to trade away the right to get a potential star player in the DRAFT for a collection on quality players. When was the last time that happen?
