I'm one of those fans. I've already told my son that if Ivey makes the team, he can expect an Ivey Hawks Jersey to be placed next to his Ford Bucks Jersey. If you give him a chance, you guys will fall in love with Royal. He gets it. He competes and he's down to Earth. He's a great kid with excellent character. He won a good deal of games for UT this year. After the Nebraska game, he was interviewed on the floor after he hit the game winner and he was just happy that his dad had been able to attend the game and see it in person. Our coach Rick Barnes just kept gushing about Royal being a great person and his parents being great people. This guy is for real.

Ditto DJ Money. If a PG is needed, then I think Gaines is the guy. Personally I am of the opinion that the Hawks need to be blown up and reconfigured. Pick your player to keep and build around him. A top 7 pick should be good with some kind of plan in mind.

I can't believe you guys think that either guy should have a shot at MVP. You are correct in that they are arguably at the top in the NBA in ability and talent. Yet, they don't dominate in the win column. Kobe needs Shaq to win consistently. Tmac is on a .500 team in the east. For MVP consideration, look at leadership and the ability to will your team to victories by doing the dirty work. Look at guys like Duncan and KG, whose supporting casts are worse than what Kobe has, and equal to what Tmac has. What KG has done this year is amazing. He has put his team on his back and is carrying them. Duncan as usual is as consistent as consistent gets. You have to really understand the game to appreciate him. Sure, he's dull and we live in a world of flash. Trade either one of them straight up for Tmac or Kobe and their teams will have better records.

Khnadi is a cancer. He like the rest of the Clips don't know how to win. They blew it last night against the Rockets and they have blown it regularly, Khandi or no Khandi. It will take a lot more than Doc to help him shed his selfish, whining, loser mentality. Also, you would think that the Hawks fans would know how something looks on paper, is seldom how it appears on the court.
