Did I type Black I meant blame lol
-
Yea its not like Marv drafted himself. It was widely known he had motivation problems in college. Black Hawks management not Marv
-
The closest thing to a cancer on this team is Josh
- 1
-
The real question here is if he is traded, will sportsouth continue to wear the living hell out of his little documentary video? They are still showing that like it's a ratings getter.
lol
-
Marv is not a cancer he just doesn't wanna play on this garbage team
who can blame him
-
That quote is exactly why this team needs to be blown up. I don't know why people wanna stick with this team.
If u think this team has a chance to make the finals ur not being a fan ur just being an idiotic homer
-
wait someone said TMAC was never a superstar!!!!
lol obviously someone wasn't alive circa 2003

damn the link keep messing up. just go to the ajc blog
Portland–Hawks forward Tracy McGrady’s private frustrations over his playing time finally boiled over after he played just 4:39 during the 97-77 loss to the Blazers late Saturday.
“I’m tired of this [bleep],” McGrady said. “You can put that in the paper, I don’t give a [bleep].”
McGrady didn’t play after halftime against the Blazers. He didn’t dress for Atlanta’s 101-99 victory at Phoenix Thursday but said it was his decision to rest for the second game of a back-to-back. Against the Blazers, McGrady never returned after Marvin Williams replaced him with 7:21 left in the first half.
McGrady has played in 26 of 32 games this season for an average of 18 minutes before Saturday’s game. Last season with Detroit McGrady averaged 23 minutes in 72 games.
McGrady said Hawks coach Larry Drew hasn’t offered him an explanation when he doesn’t play him many minutes.
“If you don’t feel I can help, come tell me that,” McGrady said. “He ain’t told me nothing. I just want to help these guys win, man, which I know I can. But, damn, four minutes?”
McGrady made his comments after Drew’s postgame news conference. Earlier this week Drew, speaking generally about the limited amount of minutes available for his many veteran players, said he thinks it’s important to offer them an explanation when they don’t play much.
McGrady said he’s previously approached Drew about the topic but doesn’t plan on doing so again.
“I have before but I’m only going to do that one time,” McGrady said.
Drew has said he’s mindful of saving McGrady’s body from wear and tear. McGrady was a two-time scoring champion before a series of injuries that includes a herniated disk in his back. He suffered back spasms on Jan. 11 and sat out three games.
McGrady said that when he suits up, that means he’s ready to play.
“My body feels great,” McGrady said. “If it didn’t, I wouldn’t play.”
Under CBA rules, McGrady would be eligible for a trade on March 1. He didn’t go so far as to say he wants out of Atlanta but said he wants to play a bigger role for the Hawks.
“Hopefully, I’m here,” he said. “I like it here. I like the guys. That’s what I love most about it. I like the guys in this locker room. But at the same time, I still can play. No doubt in my mind.
This team is headed for disaster

Doesn't matter as the game is still 48 minutes and you made 2 different statements in your original post and my original response was to the more "grand" of your statements "Let the guys on here tell it. He's all star material" and yeah you know what I'd say his numbers tonight made him look like a Hall of Famer and without a doubt an All-Star.
Stopped reading after that
Alright then Captain Kangaroo
-
When you posted that I believe the game of basketball was still 48 minutes long wasn't it?
yea thanks for not answering the question
-
So when I posted that he was playing great???? Or was it afterwards???
I'll wait
-
Man Osh has been str8 garbage
Let the guys on here tell it. He's all star material
-
U want someone to get alcohol poisoning
-
Lin plays in the Dantoni offense which makes him look better than he really is
-
Of course you guys still conplain about josh smith's game even though he just dominated the best center in the league in his house. Not surprised at all.
Complain.
And mo betta lets be real your words had absolutely nothing to do with how he played tonight.
Umm what. Yes they did.
-
And I was right again. Great game Josh.
Boy I love being right
-
He's also got a few blocks as well!
Plus a few really dumb passes and a ton of dumb shots. But I will take that when Josh is rebounding the ball the way that he is!
EXACTLY!!!!!!
This is the Josh we need
Now he has 22 pts 17 rebs and 5 asts 3 blks
-
See like I said that all star snub would make him play better. I TOLD U SOOOOOO
If he plays like this all the time then HOT DAMN
-
This! Does anybody watch the stupid allstar game anymore? I havent watched that crap for several years. Josh should have made the team period.
Thats why I don't really care its not even important. Hopefully Josh is striving for a Final's appearance more than a All Star Appearance
-
Yall remember that Spurs game???
I told yall that would come back to bite Josh in the butt. Letting Bonner torch him like that smh
-
Josh Smith deserved to be an All Star, BUT his own boneheadedness (its a word now) cause coaches to pass him for players who know how to play the game the right way.
Thats what I've been saying
-
I don't think I've ever seen a poster celebrating a player not succeeding, not being recognized, etc. and I've traversed just about every nba team/nba forum.
Making a all star think doesn't mean he's succeeding. It's turned into a popularity contest.
-
This to me says a lot about the rumors that there might be a rift between the 2 of them. It's hard to imagine seeing your co #1 / #2 guy get left off of the All-Star team for the 3rd straight season where he could have easily made it and to not say anything about it just seems strange.
This team is strange
Remember when Jamal Crawford won the 6th man award?? I don't think any of his teammates came to support him smh. They don't really care about each other.
-
I tell you what if I were Joe Johnson I'd take this as an opportunity to prove that I'm the captain and leader of this team and protest the All-Star game because of Josh being snubbed. It seems there is more outrage this year than ever for Josh, even though this is probably not even his 2nd best season let alone his best season, and Joe needs to stand up for Josh here by sitting this game out. That's easy for me to say but hell Joe has already been 5 times and he doesn't seem to like the spotlight anyway so why not sit it out for his teammate?
Personally I don't think Josh deserved to go this year if he didn't deserve to get there in his better seasons but I am still disappointed that he didn't get in.
This whole "Osh" business is not going to do anything but make people think you are trolling and people won't forget that about you.
We can barely get Joe to talk during Halftime. That would be a miracle
Damn Joe could at least mention Josh lol
Joe Johnson 4real @TheJoeJohnson2
Im Blessed to have the opportunity to play in my 6th AllStar game It never gets old... from Little Rock to Atlanta STAND UP.
So Marvin wants Out?

I think like someone else stated that Coaching is the real problem. I've watched BBALL for a long time and I look at the Hawks Offense and Im like wtf are they doing. Just standing around looking confused. Its horrible.
