  1. Nice. Maybe Delaney can take a Korver type role at times and switch things up together with THJ...whovever has the hottest hand. We missed scorers last year on the wings, specially off the dribble.  Also the Hawks surely have become beefier with this new roster and less lethargic. Hope things come together. Hope Dennis feeds Howard one time to often than one time to few to keep his ego on board and maybe grow in to an Orlando role of sorts again.

    Interesting season comming up.

  2. Teague is partly attractive because of his contract, but it wouldnt mean a thing to Philly for the one year left on it. Then they have to resign him, which might be unlikely. So two studs gone...Dennis would offer them a young stud in return and a contract managable after this one runs out.  Teague isnt also all that much of a leader type of PG who can teach young players. I think Dennis would already be better at that. Still though, Philly with Dennis would prolly still be a mess, pending on Embiid and their pick. I've been watching some Ben Simmons vids and Im sold on him very much. So who knows.

  3. Thing is, signing Al is being like marrying a cool chick who starts adding allot weight the last year before the marriage and demanding a brand new 10k kitchen. I have held Al in high esteem and defended him allot on here, but he was defenitly below par for the last quarter of the season. Max is to much for what he brings these days and would set the table for years to come. I think Al is an anker player and would love to see him here still. Im fine either way, but I could understand management.

  4. That move would make the Hawks prolly the best defensive team allround. Teague wasnt always on board on D. Hinrich is always doing his best there. Noel would also deter for many more stretches Lebron's growing inside presence. Still would need allot of scoring on the wings. Durant you need to be here.

    Dennis

    Baze

    Durant

    Millsapp

    Noel

    Cuz IMO Al prolly leaves...

  5. Hartenstein has crazy body-controll for someone being 6.11. His dishes are something else. He reminds me more of Detlef "White Magic/Det the Treath" Schrempf than Lebron though. He could be a legit NBA player.  Maybe a nice wing for the Hawks.

  6. Are you guys drunk? No one in Germany cares about basketball and I think Dennis is very happy in ATL, also because at this point he is a sort of a system point-guard with a coach who formed him and where he knows he is in a srs organisation, playing play-offs each year and with lots of potential to take it a step further.  I think PHIL, SAC etc would be a disaster for Dennis and I thinks he knows this. He might be interested in CLE or something. I saw him dreweling at Lebron on the bench and he didnt let an opportunity slip to head him up on D.

  7. Dennis was the best man on the court for stretches of the game. He outclassed his team-mates all game long...I mean many situations where you could just see incompetence...take Thabo on the wing or Al doing some Kareem Abdul Jabbar impression. Dennis did what had to be done. Did you see Baze's eyes after the inbound. They all wanted Dennis to do it, which whas to much and you could feel it going wrong, but the rest just played way beneath their possibilities all series long.

  8. Stay in the game till deep in the third. Start playing nasty with no regard for life and max out the fouls. They think to be already in the finals and will get all touchy feely and make their own mistakes bad mouthing reffs and thinking twice before pulling up for a 3.

  9. Yeah, but if Horford and Millsap are combined 0/10 before Dennis sees a minute on the court it is Dennis who sucks the life out of the Hawks offense...honestly, what the OP talks about made some sense last year, but this year I've only seen it once or twice, and yeah those where recently. But why not panic and do away with a dude who actually had two good games this series and could have netted one game 3, if others would step up equally.

  10. Not sure how Dennis is being so out of control when he's the one getting slapped and getting a knee in his gut. If these plays would have been revieuwed justly by the reffs he would have gained us two Boston suspensions...

  11. The whole Boston team is also working for Thomas, setting multiple screens, after the first are mostly covered fine by our guards. So its hard to defend that where they give up something elsewhere.....Dennis despite all is flawfull games of late is doing great against Thomas most the time. Bud also tries to match up Dennis against Thomas as much as he can justify.

If it was up to you we all would not even be watching Hawks playoff basketball. Despite the loss and my Dennis being horrible far to often I still outright loved the intensity of these games. Bud might have called that play, or might not. It wouldnt suprise me after Teague stepping up earlier with a hot hand in a period where not much went right for the Hawks and Thomas not being known for defending very well.
