Hey i can run Pick and Rolls with Al Horford and Paul Milsap all day and get 15 assists a night too...and you can pay me $500,000 a year to do it....Teague doesnt make great passes he just runs pick n roll after pick n roll....its not hard...lemme know when you see Teague make some legit Jason Kidd or Ricky Rubio type passes....then we can start saying hes a great passer...until then Schröder can do the same thing Teague is doing with his passing game....all Dennis needs to work on is his jumper and then Teague becomes expendable....if not already.....also Jeff was a very poor jump shooter in his first couple of years too....Also relax...we only played Orlando....not Miami or Indiana or San Antonio or Memphis....he did well against a team he should be dominating....will wait n see how he does against the premier teams in the NBA not these scrubs that were supposed to beat.

does it really matter how he looked? theres no time for him on this team....you can add him in a trade or just release him...other than shooting (which we have in Korver) theres no need to keep him around...he didnt play well in summer league...what makes anyone think hes gunna do anything in the NBA?...he will be in Europe in a year or 2

Hey if you guys are fine with being a mediocre .500 team thats basically still in limbo and hasnt really changed much since the Joe era then thats fine...Im not fine with being a 6-8 seed for the next 6 years again.....were not getting any big names to come to Atlanta ever and building through the draft will take too long because Horford and Milsap are in the primes of there career now.....this is when you need to fill the SF hole and give up a good player in return. But you have depth at PG which makes Teague are biggest trading piece over Milsap...theres not much depth at PF for us....but with Teague you have Denis and Lou when he gets back which makes Teague expendable....re signing him was a bad move by Ferry....i dont care if Teague plays well....it was not a smart move...we dont need him because we have depth at PG. But hey if you guys are fine with possibly making the playoffs or getting a shitty lottery pick then cool.

Ok...you guys are right....cause you guys seem to know everything about PER and contracts and everything else....like contracts matter anymore....other teams are going for broke and will continue to do so until they win a title.... and PER is not really meaningful if your on the right team.......I love my Hawks but why are people so sure that there gunna be in the playoffs? When theyve lost to two terrible teams in Denver and L.A.?...What makes you think there gunna be able to beat a Washington? or a Toronto? or a Detroit? because Chicago, Miami, Brooklyn, New York, Indiana are all for sure....what makes you think we can beat Cleveland? This roster isnt a sure fire playoff roster.....im still waiting to hear about these so called "other options" we can get at SF....i mean maybe Evan Turner? Deng? We are really gunna find out who we are tommorow vs Orlando and then Charlotte on Monday...will see if we play down to the competition because we should handle these teams with absolute ease if thats what you guys think of our roster

Your happy with mediocrity?And please.....since we are severely lacking at Small Forward...and since Durant nor Melo will ever be Atlanta Hawks.....can you give me a better option at SF then Rudy Gay? What if Teague gets hurt this season or his production drops and never gets this high again? Why draft Denis 17th overall just to watch him play 18 minutes a game? Denis is our future bud...theres no doubt about this.....you dont draft somebody in the first round for them not to be your future...Ferry screwed up on the Teague signing...theres no need to sign him for 4 years at 32 million and then draft a guy that is going to be taking over the reins in a couple of seasons....why didnt we just draft the best available SF? it clearly was our glaring weakness....you guys can hate Rudy all you want...and since im Canadian i see him play all the time on TV here...but if we had a player like him in the lineup were most likely 4-1 or 5-0 right now....not 2-3....then again...unless your happy with being .500

And im fine with that cause our first pick next year wont be a lottery pick and itll take them a couple of years to develop.

Who said anything about Teague????When your Boston And your clearly trying to tank ....You Have Jeff Green who is there biggest asset next to Rajon..you want a couple of role players and some picks....AKA look at Brooklyn...the Celtics took Humphries , Gerald Wallace and a bunch of bums plus some picks for Terry, Pierce, Garnett.....Boston would need to stay bad in order to get the number 1 pick....so why would they want Teague??.....especially if Rajon gets traded too...they are on a fire sale right now.....and who said Salaries have to match?....all we need is ASG to open the wallet up and suck it up and pay some luxury tax (if thats needed) even if its just for a season or two....if we wait to draft an SF then it will be to late cause itll take too long for him to develop....plus Milsap and Horford are about to enter the Primes of there careers....this is where there gunna be at the top of there game for the next 4-5 years....we need somebody NOW.....not 4 years from now....and as for hoisting up 23 shots a game....Jeff Green doesnt hoist up 23 shots a game....and if he does every so often its acceptable because hes the best Boston player on the court next to Rajon whos injured and you dont want Rajon shooting the ball because hes not a shooter.....Jeff Green is there best scorer....and Luol Deng i dont think has ever hoisted up 23 shots in a game in his career....he would fit in perfectly since hes an awesome defender and can score as well....im throwing Rudy in here because he is a guy who has hit many game winning shots....which is what we coulda used yesterday....Uhmm....do I need to really look up how many Game Winners Rudy Gay has??.....He can Definitely win you a ball game in the dying seconds....hes only criticized because he plays on the Raptors and has to do pretty much everything.....they run the offense through him and sometimes Derozan.....if he were a Hawk....you could run it through Horf, Milsap, or Rudy.....but when you need that final shot Rudy is definitely your guy hands down

Hmmm Jeff Green, Rudy Gay, Gallinari, Luol Deng....take your pick....IF we had any of these guys we would have beaten the Lakers and Now Denver....also maybe even Dallas as well....Dont blame this on all...even though Korver was open, Al had a higher percentage shot and a good look...but the truth is we need a Small Forward to complete this team....regardless of Lou Williams health....and one of those 4 guys would be the answer....I would say either Green, Gay, or Deng....not so much Galinari but anyone other than Carroll or Cartier PLEASEEE ATL....make a move.

No im not a Raptors fan....and LOL @ Memphis getting better without Rudy Gay....uhh thats super incorrect....if anything trading Rudy Gay is what seperated the Grizz from winning the West Last Season....they relied on Quincy Pondexter at SF...if they had Rudy they would have had that offensive guy to go to to get you the buckets and they would have won that series,,,,hands down...to say Rudy is terrible on both ends is also incorrect...he is a good option on offense...and in Atlanta he wouldnt have to carry the Load....thats what Milsap and Horford can do as well as Lou-Will. Were not Getting Lebron, Were not getting Melo, Were not getting Durant and were not getting any other All Star in the forseeable future....and building through the draft doesnt work anymore....its called opening up the wallet and getting the best players available each and every season to get yourself in the playoffs. And were also not tanking so we have to get the best possible players on the block. Teague has to go...Schröder is the future...throw him into the fire and let him learn the NBA game ASAP...lets not wait wait wait for another 4 years....thats stupid....because by then Milsap and Horford may be gone and you find yourself building again and again and again. Think about it the starters could be Pg - Schröder Sg - Korver or Gay Sf- Korver or Gay PF - Milsap C- Horford Bench - Lou Wiliams, Lowry, Carroll, Cartier, Ayón, Antić thats a really deep team for the immediate future and if it doesnt work with Lowry or Gay then you have cap space again after next summer. ( assuming Gay picks up his option for next season)

Never said Lowry and Gay would win us anything...but they will get us into the Playoffs for sure with Horford and Milsap and can make noise in the East again...but Lowrys contract runs out this season....so hes a loaner and Gay runs out next season....so you could rent these guys and see where how they fit in....if they dont fit in then there off the books this year and next year....its like a trial period but you can win now as well.

Ok to all responses....but im sorry.....this is a win now league....this isnt build build build build and then you win a championship....teams are made to win NOW these days....not tommorow...the Heat were put together in one season....that equals 2 championships....the only team that was built and has been successful are the San Antonio Spurs...and they started building that team in the 1990s..... The Thunder have been building since they were the Sonics = 0 titles.....the Raptors (where where im from) have been building and failing since they ever became a franchise....Dallas (who won the title in 2011) made moves to get Shawn Marion and Tyson Chandler the year before they won there title....even the Lakers....when they started there run a long time ago...they TRADED to get Shaq to start there own run....then TRADED to get Gasol (Who was arguably the best PF at the time in the NBA when they got him) and those both equaled a bunch of titles....look at the Bulls...theyve had Rose since 2008....theyve been building forever....0 titles and there struggling immensely so far this season...you need to make trades to get the best roster now........now look at Houston....last season they got Harden....now they got Howard and there now a huge threat to win the WEST and possibly an NBA title...literally they became a contender overnight.....and whoever said Schröder wont be a decent PG??? excuse me? Rondos Rookie Season : 23.5 Minutes Per Game 6.4 PPG 3.8 Ast per game Schröder So Far : 18.3 Minutes Per Game 6.3 PPG 4.3 AST Per Game So hes actually having a better Rookie Season then Rondo Already and is playing 5 minutes less per game.....so dont give me that nonsense... And if Teague is ballin out right now.....if he keeps this up till the Trade Deadline....why nnot trade him when his stock could be at an all time high this season??....it may never get this high again...so i stand by my theory....throw dennis in there....the quicker he learns...the more he learns and the better he can become quicker....get Teague out of here and try to haul a Borderline All Star or someone to fix our problem at SF and lets not have TWO PGS when Lou gets back healthy he can backup Denis.. I love the Hawks....but i dont understand why Ferry signed Teague and then drafted Schröder (whos gunna take over the reins in a couple of years clearly) Why not shop Teague around?..Hes not gunna win us a championship anytime soon....Just let Schröder start and live with the growing pains. I would say theres TWO teams that could very well soon be in sell-mode. 1) Toronto Teague/Brand/Jenkins/2nd rounder FOR Rudy Gay and Kyle Lowry? Lowry is in the final year of his deal....so if the Hawks were to get him....he can be a backup to Schröder or you can just let him loose...now i know Rudy doesnt sound like it makes sense to get him....but we need a SF bad.....Demarre Carroll is good off the bench.....but not to start....hes an energy guy and would fit perfectly behind Rudy....now getting Rudy and his awful contract is a risk....but its almost like a 2 year trial (assuming he picks up his option next year).....but the Hawks are sort of in a predicament here...because there not bad enough to tank and right now there not good enough to win a title or make serious noise....If this trade were made Our starting lineup would be: Schröder Korver Rudy Gay Millsap Horford Then you could bring Lowry, Lou Williams (when Healthy) Antić and Ayón and Demarre all off the bench.. 2) Boston.......this is more unlikely....but since Boston is clearly tanking and looking to trade pieces for draft picks....assuming Rondo is shipped out this season....you could maybe try and get Boston to take Teague and some other piece (draft picks) for Jeff Green and he could be the athletic wing man we need. Or we can just tank and get rid of everyone but Horford....but that looks unlikely too....
