John is painful to watch

Just one of those shooting nights from our backcourt. We haven't had more than 2 or 3 games where they've shot this bad. They will shoot better

I'm more encouraged by the adjustments, the communication, and the rotation considering which guys were hot.

We don't look lifeless like we did with Nate. This would've been a 30pt loss but we fought.

I don't like that we have talked Trae out of taking 3s as a fan base.

We are more okay with dejounte taking that contested 3, and that's a shame. 

Trae isn't shooting as well for the season, but he really can't get going. You can feel the collective josh smithesque gasp of the fans when he takes any 3.

im not going to lie I was wondering why Trae wasn’t huddling up more with the team and was thinking he probably should since there’s so much attention on him even when he’s not playing but then I read this and now I’m thinking perhaps he’s not involved because Mcmillian doesn’t allow players who are out to be involved heavily.

Well I don't think many ppl saw it happen tbh.

Trae was constantly in the huddle, dapping teammates, and joking with guys on the bench. Celebrated all the 3s and dunks with Vit. 

Trae was active and in good spirits

If you want conspiracy, I was at the game and saw something weird.

Trae was kind of in the huddle and Nate just shoved Trae out of the way to sit down and draw a play.

Trae goes over to some teammates and they laugh about it.

My friend and I were like wtf was that lol

Some of ya'll complaints can be fixed but most of it can't be fixed and it will never be a thing in Atlanta. This is gonna be a spammy offense forever like Lamar in Baltimore. It is what it is. 

I've called him Messi, the best offensive talent I've seen and when it comes together it's beautiful. But it has to be ran through him. That's where he differs than Messi. Messi can just be a role player in a game and add value. Trae has to be the driver. Trae is an once in a generation offensive talent but his issues with fit make him one of the most difficult players to build around that I've ever seen and that's just speaking offense only. Defense is another story altogether 

If there were guys on this team that could afford Trae the luxury of playing off ball he probably would.

I don't blame him for calling for ball when you got hunter and Collins dribble off their feet out of bounds. We sit here and watch Murray take 7-8 3s in a game and don't bat an eye.

There is literally no other team that starts a 4 and 5 that can't shoot. We start 2 non shooters at the 4 and 5.

This lineup needs balanced shooting or a center like KAT like you've mentioned. Or a sniper at the 4 like bojan.

Get that, and we have yet to seen the best of Trae.

So Nate doesnt deserve criticism? His track record of inept offense and lack of adjustments holds no weight?

Regardless whether you gripes with Trae are warranted or not, you haven't seen him coached by a true offensive mind or someone universally known as a great coach.

You've called Trae the Messi of basketball. It may be hard to build around him, but it can be done. Do we have the right guys to do it? That's the question

Maybe Dallas has some shooting coaches that have helped him improve, maybe Luka's gravity has resulted in better looks for Dinwiddie, maybe something else or a combination of factors.

Well when you look at that roster top to bottom. Everybody is a good shooter.

Dinwiddie, kleber, wood, hardaway, finney-smith solid.

You look at us and we are horrible top to bottom. 

So I'm pretty sure the spacing is much better there.

I mean Murray is shooting better with Trae than with SAS but I wouldn't attribute that to Trae.

You acting like he was out there with Klay Thompsons running around. The reality is he hasn't had knockdown shooters around him besides Gallo.

Wings can work with Trae as long as they can shoot. We happen to have inconsistent shooters throughout the roster.

You think Mike D'antoni would run a system where John Collins is our safety valve on kick outs?

Trae averaging 10assists with some of the worst shooting I've ever seen is a miracle in itself

Our front court is trash outside of capela.

Our "shooters" can't shoot outside of AJ and Bogi. Bogi can't defend.

Look at this offense Carlisle is running and compare it to Nate's offense.
