Huerter,(they love him in DC)OKC pick, and our 2020 pick for Beal? lol. OUr defense would still suck, but our offense would be scary..
Yea I would do it if that 2020 pick is protected

OKoro probably wouldnt see the floor next season. And is Harrel our backup PF? I thought he was a center? I agree on Graham. Ill take him over Bembry..
I'll take anyone over Bembry... Well maybe not Teague... Geez he's awful lol

Bud was a shitty general manager. And he threw Danny Ferry under the bus, and he acted like a little bitch about his buyout from Schlenk. Great coach, but he's an asshole.
Yea it got personal for Bud... But he's in a good place where he is at. We have moved on.
I'm just giddy about Trae and Cam combo

He’s just mad that this rebuild has gone exactly the way I told everyone it would three years ago.
Well we also can't live in the past. We had an aging team. We had to move on. We really made the mistake with Bud when we gave him GM power but I digress... We have some really talented young players and I'm excited about this teams future.

Agruing with KB who lacks sense isn't going to get anyone, anywhere. KB is mad that we don't have Bud. His mindset is one track minded and it's usually terrible at best. Let him be.
Lol. Everyone deserves some conversation right? We are all Hawks fans

If we dont someone needs to be fired. Making the playoffs is not a high bar in the NBA. Half the league makes the playoffs.
Totally agree. Making the playoffs isn't hard. Which is why I think we do. But only if we have some changes with our coaching approach. Terrible rotations, constantly switching, no boxing out, no actual plays being called... All of that needs to stop.

Look. I like John Collins, but he’s not a 10 win player. Losing him isn’t the reason this team is not going to be a playoff team. This team isn’t a playoff team because there is too much reliance upon youth and very little veteran production.
Even if Trae makes a jump to being a 10 win player next year, that’s still just 3 more wins that what he is currently giving this team.
You aren’t adding a couple of 2-3 win players and making this a playoff team.
I'm going to have to disagree with you. As currently constructed, we make the playoffs over Orlando if healthy next year. Capela will make a big difference on the offensive boards and Skal is surprisingly efficient when given mins.
If Schlenk can add a combo guard (why I want Beasley), a high energy big with switching versatility and spacing (Toppin) and a decent wing, we will be in good shape.

Dallas is blowing out Memphis. What the hell?
Memphis wasn't good when we played them. We were just playing the worst game I've seen them play this year. Counted at least 4 airballed 3s and 5 missed layups in the first half. Was terrible.

Maybe not by 15 or 20, but I think we do win. The big thing is that Trae draws a ton of fouls. Tonight, we only shot 9 FTs . . . made 5 of them.
I can agree with you on this bro.

Not if he's going 1-9 from three, which turn into easy points for the opponent. Good Trae is really good, but bad Trae is really bad.
You don't think he had the flu for like a week? The game before our horrendous Memphis game he was showing signs of illness. Sweating profusely but still dropping like 26 at the half.

This isn’t a playoff team unless they are able to pull off a massive deal to get someone like Bradley Beal or Joel Embiid to Atlanta. Toppin and Beasley do not make this a playoff team.
You do realize we are in the East right? Overtaking Orlando would have been done this year if Collins wasn't suspended. Orlando is ass.

Honestly, Harrell, Okoro, and another PDS wing with experience should turn us into a 50-55 win team. I want to keep Treveon Graham as the 6th wing. He plays really hard and I like his defense a lot.
I do like Graham. He can stick if he can work on his 3 and shoot around 36% from 3 next year. His defense, rebounding and overall effort is what this team needs off the bench.

Y'all do realize if Trae played, we win by 15 to 20 right lol.

IMHO, Toppin, Malik Beasley and a solid backup wing and we in the playoffs easily

Damn another ridiculous assist to turnover game from Kev.
Did you watch the game? His piss poor effort on defense and rebounding was one of the main reasons we lost...

Only complaint are those 7 turnovers and the missed dunk. But he had like 3 near steals that wont show in the box score.
Yea he was pressing because of lack of point guard play. Teague was the worst player in this game. Again he was a turnstile, he can't pass or provide drive and kick opportunities. At least Goodwin can play D and drive and kick. LPs rotations are absolutely awful.

Just now, bleachkit said:
He ran point for the team. Do you want D. Hunter running the point?
Nah. Goodwin would have been nice but he was buried on the bench behind Teague all game

What is he saying?
Praising Kevin and energy... He fears he lost the team last game and decides to kiss ass to keep them on his side...

Listening to LPs presser makes me sick...
"Kevin took a leadership role today"

Schlenk is still tanking.
Last year should tell you tanking won't work anymore. Just need to have a lottery pick. There isn't a difference between being the worst or 3rd worst.

Lots of teaching moments in this game. There are positives. Just have to have a leader who can motivate and teach this young team how to be professionals. LP is not the guy...

Huerter's benching should be a positive for him. He will be the number 1 option on the second unit and can recieve starter mins off the bench. He and Trae don't need to be on the floor together.

3rd best player on the team coming off the bench. lol
He wont bench Kevin. lol. Not this year anyway...
Then he has to go. I don't care if we are the worst team in the league, we won't get better with him at the helm.

Listen
If LP does not start Cam after this game I honestly think LP deserves to lose his job. He clearly doesn't care about improving if he doesn't start Cam
This. If he don't damn start Cam over Huerter, he needs to be sent packing... Doesn't take a genius to make this move

Kenny Atkinson is now available. Bring him back home Schlenk!

The Nets have "mutually" parted ways with Kenny Atkinson. Rumors are that some players wanted him gone (*cough* Kyrie *cough*). All this guy has done is overachieved with his rosters. He can actually coach. I would drop LP in a heartbeat for this guy.
I know he's from the Bud coaching tree but this isn't a step back into the past. He knows how to get the best out of his rosters and has the balls to bench anyone not showing effort. What are your thoughts guys?
