FIRST TIME ATL IN HISTORY, THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is AWESOME!  Congratulations to the Hawks for winning this series and moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals!  I am embarrassed to admit this but I actually thought the Hawks had been to the ECF before with some of their playoff series with the Celtics!  This is GREAT and I hope they can now take care of Lebron and the Cavs!!!

   Did the Hawks really have a 14 point lead?

I can't watch the game so I am wondering if the Hawks scoring (Or, lack of) is more due to their poor Offense or the Wizards good Defense?  Keeping my fingers crossed that the can win this game tonight!  I would rather not see them go to a 7th game!

Is it just my imagination or are the Wizards getting a lot of Offensive Rebounds.

I want to apologize to all the Hawks fans on this great Board!  The Nets really worried me and I really was hoping the Hawks weren't going to have to play them!  But, I should have had more confidence in the Hawks!  I just hope they can keep on playing the rest of their playoff games like they played their 2nd half last night!!!

Last night was a Great/Huge Win!!!

Sorry, I have not kept up with all the posts on this thread but what are the opinions on when Tavares will make the Hawks final roster?  Any chance of that happening next season or is he two or three years away from that happening?

I'm going to have to disagree here. I do think that Sullinger is a load and would be a tough matchup and the celtics seem to swing the ball around well. However, I think we would have a much easier time with the Celts because of their youth. I'd say most of their good players are super young. You got Marcus Smart, Kelly O, Isiah Thomas, and Evan Turner and Sully. Very inexperienced playoff group. Their only vets that have seen playoff success are Avery Bradley and Brandon Bass. On the other hand, the Nets have a group of vets with D Will, JJ, Lopez,Thad and Jack. I know we swept them but the playoffs are a different animal. I'd really like a matchup with the Celtics over any other team (Nets, Indy)

Totally Agree!  While I hope I am wrong (Happens way too often!) and that the earlier posters are correct the Nets do worry me!  Personally, I am hoping the Nets end up with the #7 seed (Of course, I was really hoping they wouldn't make the playoffs!) and have to play the Cavs & Lebron and the Hawks play the Celtics in the 1st round. 

Sorry!  This has nothing to do with the NBA Draft but everything to do with I would rather see the Hawks play the Celtics in the 1st Round of the Playoffs than the Nets!  Now that the Hawks are somewhat short staffed I have to admit that I would be a little concerned about playing the Nets who seem to be on a pretty good roll right now.  And, please believe me - I don't like the Nets!!!

As much as I hate to ever see the Hawks lose (I wish they could have gone 82-0 and Win the NBA Championship!) could there be any Silver Lining (Overconfidence, Rest, Healing, etc) in their recent losses?  I don't know if there is but at least that is what I am telling myself!  Hopefully, when the Hawks begin the playoffs we will be seeing the 2014/15 Hawks team that we have become accustomed to this season!

With three starters inactive tonight, will we see either of the two newest Hawks?

With Carroll, Millsap and Teague scheduled to rest up for tomorrow night's game,

could this mean a minute or two for the new guys.

 

This west coast stuff, beginning in the middle of the night sure makes it hard when

it's right in the middle of sleep time and for working people, terrible.

Stupid Question!  Who are the 2 new guys?  I am aware of Austin Daye but I didn't know the Hawks signed another player.

He always has been a torn in our side. Let's hope he's like Flip Murray and Jamal Crawford for us and not Jerrell Eddie and Jeremy Richardson

 

I know these are just highlights but this player (Daye) sure looks pretty good!  

Replacement for Mike Scott.

I must have missed something!  What is wrong with Mike Scott?  

Can we look for the Hawks to make any last minute additions to their roster before the playoffs or do you think the Hawks roster is healthy and ready to go?

The Hawks and whoever plays the Nets!  My dream season would be the Hawks winning the NBA Championship and then getting a lottery pick thanks to the Nets!!!  I know it is just a Dream!
