  1. He looked terrible this year to me. Trade him for a 2nd rounder if you can and sign Jordan Hill. Realistically we could let Baze go, sign Hill, Afflalo, and Augustine and sign Horford last if need be and we would improve. Maybe find a vet SF that we can make the next Baze or DMC while we groom Prince for the role.

  2. We really need to keep Baze. Like others have said, I'd also like to see us trade Spliter. I'd also like to see us sign and trade Horford along with Teague for Jimmy Butler. Bring in some sort of rim protector that can play 20 minutes a game and resign humphries and we've got ourselves a squad.

  3. Some of you guys need to RELAX, we started 7-6, I believe, last year. Did any of you expect to win it all? I didn't. We don't have the cap room to acquire the talent needed or the talent on the roster needed to win the championship. I didn't like our last two draft picks, but Bud is a good coach and I think we are still a good team. If we make a couple of good moves in the off season we have a chance to win a championship with Bud and some of the pieces that we have, but if you expected to beat the Cavs or the Warriors this season you were dreaming.

  4. I love Milsap, but honestly I'm not a huge Horford fan. I think he's an odd guy. He's a talented 4/5 offensively, but he is soft in the paint. We need a banger to come off the bench and Splitter isn't that guy. We also need a scorer at the 2 guard that can slash and shoot. Korver won't cut it much longer. I love him, but he's a 6th man. If we could find a solid 2 guard that can score and a banger that plays 10-15 minutes a game with good rebounding and defense I think we would be an even better team. I trust bud though. We had the best year EVER last year, so let's give the guy a little wiggle room.

  5. I think we are playing better to start the year than how we ended last year, but in midseason during our big win streak we were beating teams by 15-20 almost every night. We are starting to show signs of that, but I'm not sure if we're quite there yet. I think we can get there though. I was one that thought DC was a product of the system so I am not surprised that Baze is stepping in so well.

  6. I think what angers me the most about this entire situation, is that we could've gotten RJ Hunter. That dude can ball, and we're going to regret not getting him. He's not quite Steph Curry, but he is a similar player. He has that crazy quick release and can shoot the lights out. We really needed someone like that.

  7. I'm not sold on our team just yet. I think the scheme and coaching alone will carry us to 45-50 wins, but are we elite or as good as we were last year? I'm not sure. We should be, but we need Korver to knock the rust off, and we still need some guys to rebound. Honestly it would be great if we could trade Mac and Scott at some point for another big body that can rebound. I'm not sure who that would be, but that would be nice come playoff time. Hopefully trading our pick for Hardaway works out, because we need him to be instant offense off of the bench. With our PG's set, and Korver, Thabo, Hardaway, and Baze as our main 2/3 spot players I think we will be good on the perimeter, but only having Sap, Horford, and Splitter will leave us a tad short in the rebounding and post defense department again. Adding a big that can bang in the paint, and maybe another shooter, would really put us in a good spot.

  8. Part of the problem is that we get back on defense faster than other teams, or so it seems, but you're right. I've been disappointed with Splitter so far in that Category. Despite Horfords offensive prowess, he's pretty soft inside and isn't a good rebounder. We could use a cheaper version of Tristan Thompson, which probably doesn't exist.
