  1. I dont know Im looking at all the scenarios if we sign Al we have no space to bring in the missing peace which everyone says is the small forward - we have no choice but to trade Jeff to try and get a guy.  If Al goes yea we blow the whole thing up - not sure how ppl like KW is saying its not a big deal to lose Al in free agency cuz then we have space, space to sign who though - the best player that will come here is already here.

  2. say wha  -  ?  everything we do would weaken us for short term.  We would have to use parts of that trade to get nice young big - easier said than done, not sure there is anyway we can get an improvment on Horford - just wont happen, take the loss there and develop the new younger players into what Al could not be..... thats the only thing that would happen,

If he's undersized,  not good at spot ups, off the ball offense and he's defensively inconsistent in terms of team defense, how is he going to make us better. We are not going to start him over Korver even if he's better because Korver does a lot for our pairings,  Victor was benched because he's a poor pairing for most of Orlando's players. In Atlanta it is even more system based, he's gonna have to adjust his game like Hardaway did.

yesssssssssss and thats why i said what i said.

  4. The reason for oladipo making sense is he attacks the rim most of the time, is one of the best at gaurding the 3pt line and is willing to take contact, he led the league in charges and is very good at taking them, having a physical presence like that will open things up again and force teams not to play us the way they used  to - Dipo typicall gaurds the other teams best player  because of his lateral quickness, hes is good defender -  it basically lets us change things around and how we run our offense - while not as good as it was last year until it starts to gel, long term will be harder for teams to shut down.

  5. Right -

Once again, this team is not winning with a big SF unless said SF is very close to elite if not elite. Parker isn't the answer, maybe Hayward or Middleton is but you are not getting Hayward or Middleton by parting with just Jeff. It'd have to be at least two pieces.

They may be "one piece away", however how are you going to get that piece without parting with significant pieces and creating more holes. That's why I'm saying blow it up completely.

Why cant they win  with a bigger SF or a la the article above something that gives us back the benefits of Carroll

  6. Just look at how much faster the other teams players are, except Mavs and thats the perfect matchup for us.  Look at Gordon all over the place last night playing def.  Both there shooting gaurds doing things our SG and SF could only dream about, all there players in early 20's all our players in 30s so we outsmart some teams sometiems, this was a flawed idea to begin with as with all pro sports, too many older players and eventually you just cant keep up.  Thats whats happening here.   and ppl want Tobias Hariis ??!?!? lol

  7. Why is everyone surprised, we won with a gimmick last year, a nice system that worked when everything went right and teams took a minute to figure it out, the players even said it themselves, the teams have figured us out - and we dont have the athletes to combat it.  There is no choice but to try and get better players/talent and that is what is going to happen. Its just a matter of time,  what I will be pissed about is if we get nothing for Horford and let him walk cuz wee know we cant do anything with him here.  We need high picks and talented guys we can develop period.  Sap is fine but even he is playing within the system, how well does he play when horford and teague are gone.

  8. Yea hes not going anywhere without a damn haul ppl - I was looking at a few articles out last month ranking nba s top players Al was in top 4 centers in both of them.  Just saying hes a unique player - and is a commodity on the open market.  Wildly held as the 3rd or 4th best free agent coming out and then a steep drop after that, we dont really have much of a choice.

  9. WE have to see what Horford does in the playoffs when we have a healthy Thabo whos PER is sneaking up on Baze as his is dropping FAST.  As well as healthy Milsap and Korver if he gets more consistency with his shot.  WE didnt have anyone to gaurd lebron last year and were running on fumes.   I have a feeling Horford goes Bawse mode cuz hes not playing anything like he used to and theres no way Bud and the team are just OK with that for whatever reason Horford has for himself.   BUT none of this matters unless they implement changes to the scheme that the league has clearly figured out
