    Because Baze bites at SF on both offense and defense. Defensively he has at least a boxer's chance at SG. If he gets minutes at all at the SF it would be to back up Prince and hopefully because we brought in a better starter for SG and that is still remotely possible I guess.

    Sure, that can be absolutely true, but it's not what I was talking about...

    Saying "a limit of Budball is that 2 and 3 are equivalent but Baze has played Better at the 2 than at the 3" is, per se, a contradiction.

    That's one of many flaws with Bud's coaching.  Even when the metrics are obvious that a player thrives playing one position over the other like for example Bazemore was terrible at the 3 but was decent at the 2 position but Bud ignores those kinds of details.  Time for a change

    If you agree (as you just did) that the 2 and 3 play interchangeably in Bud-system, how can you say Baze is better at the 2 than at the 3? It's a contradiction.

    Once again, positions (not roles, positions) do NOT matter when you attack.

    Pretty stupid sign by the Nuggets in my opinion.

    30M per year for 2 years and an option for the third in Denver a bad deal?

    -They add that contract in a cap filled with young players in rookie scale;

    -They have signed the perfect on the court matchup with they're designed franchise player Jokic;

    -They have added a fantastic veteran player with excellent work ethic and locker room experience, something always valuable;

    -They did not jeopardize neither their long run flexibility (many of their rookie contracts will expire along with Sap's) nor their short run's (example, they can still let Gallo walk, sign and trade with Atlanta and add a 1-2 guard like Hill which is a perfect complement for their backcourt).

    Sounds like a smart move for me.

  4. Wow, Phoenix made an incredible series of terrible decisions in the last 5 yrs and still they seem to attract big FAs (at least they can get interviews): LMA 2 years ago, 'Sap and Griffin now.

    I guess they can even ideally evolve into something like:

    Rubio-Booker-George-Sap/griffin-Chandler if Boston keeps loafing around PGeorge without a serious move.

    Minnie: Bledsoe

    Phoenix: Rubio + Patton + Filler (Aldrich or Hill)

    and

    Indiana: Contract Filler (Aldrich/Hill) + 1st pick 2018 + Chriss/Bender + TJ Warren + Patton.

    Phoenix: George

    If they're bold enough I don't see many better offers for George.

    No.  We don't.  We just have to be smart like Danny Ferry was in 2013 when he signed Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll to great contracts.  We need to identify undervalued assets, bring them in, and build back up what we had rather than tanking into the lottery only to draft some 19 year old that won't make an impact for 5 years.

    100% with you.

    Uhm.  I only want to see the best for my team.  Period.

    You say I judged Schlenk on his first two weeks...  I have news for you.  Everybody Judged Schlenk as soon as he made his first move.  Hell, Some people judged him when he got the job.   That is what we do.  If you were honest with yourself, you would readily admit that you too have judged Schlenk within this first two weeks.  And that's the truth.

    Of course we all judge people around the franchise all the time, but thing is, I don't express my final statement without a bigger picture.

    MillSap shouldn't be a starter even.  I think David West is better than Millsap (just my thoughts which I know is in the minority).  I just want to start over.  We need to let the medium tier players go somewhere else.  Paul Millsap is good  but not great.

    At least you're fun.

    Oh, wait...

    Winslow was the #10 pick last year and played nearly 30 minutes per game on the playoff Heat.

    Turner was the #11 pick last year and started 50% of his games - playing 23 minutes per game on the playoff Pacers.

    Hood was the #23 pick in 2014 and started 40% of his games (playing 21 mpg).

    Jokic was the #11 pick and start 55 games (playing 22 mpg).

    Plumlee was the #22 pick and started >30% of his games his rookie season for the playoff Nets.

    Etc.

    Wouldn't be the first time.  I'm not betting on it - but I'm hoping for it.

    Because there were no alternatives.

    I don't know if it were the system or Westbrook himself.   He said something to the effect that" I said my peace to Westbrook, obsviously the relationship won't ever be the same again, I hope he respects my decision. " To me, that suggestions that he got some stuff off his chest before he moved on.

    Yeah but that's like a normal consequence when your real leader (Westbrook) is not your "technical" leader (KD).

    Oh I'm 100% convinced that's the reason Durant left. You hear all the comments from Durant about how he wanted to be in a more ball sharing offense. There have been so many comments from him over the last few years, saying similar things like OKC was an unbeatable team when they shared the ball,(which wasn't very often.)

    That's why I don't criticize Durant for going to GSW. I don't see his primary goal for going there as chasing a ring. I think he genuinely wanted to play in a place where they share the ball - and GSW led the NBA in amount of passes last season. It's just a cherry on top for him that they are also championship caliber.

    Another media type said it best: the Westbrook and Durant dynamic wasn't a case of two people that didn't like each other, they actually did like each other. But you can like a person and still not want to play basketball with that person because they don't play the style you want too.

    I always saw KD liking that iso-system.

    He was even a Scott Brooks supporter as their coach

  11. Jones doesn't add a single valuable thing to our roster (given that we're fuller than full).

    D-Mo would be really good, but:

    1. is he healthy?

    2. We need to clear cap space (a lot of it)

    3. Houston is very likely to match almost any offer

  12. Please, please stop being stupid and writing stupid things.

    Do you really believe Bud loves Korver unconditionally, he's his daughter and that's why he plays/starts? Again, please...

    If you just could read adv stats, it's not so difficult.

    I agree he may play less minutes/not start in order to focus and concentrate his game in a shorter time span or to make him play against 2nd units which are usually more distracted, but for basketball' s sake, he's one of our best solutions, not one of the major problems.
