I am seriously considering not watching this one. I Have a problem with anger management when I watch Isaih Thomas junior.

I'd never do that deal. Hawks fans always overhype players on other teams thinking there is some magic potion going to take over when mediocre players come here.

I'm not sure we are rebuilding. Honestly trading Korver doesn't really make us worse than we are now. We play significantly better without him on the court than we do with him on

OMFG listening to NBARadio today is ear-bleedingly annoying with all these eggsperts pretending like they know anything at all about the Hawks as they discuss this trade.
Legler basically says we should've kept the team together although we're clearly not in CLE's class and that our core won't be in their class for the next 4-5 years. Huh? Are we just cannon fodder? I guess we're just supposed to stay in our place and not even try to get better, huh?
It looked like we're starting to show signs we might could compete with top teams. Hawks management will always screw up anything, been doing it since Dominique trade.

I guess Korver leaving will cause Muscala and Bazemore to appoint themselves 3 point assassin's. Lord help us.

I am much more impressed with the Hawks handling a sub .500 team than beating the Spurs.

I don't either. He's not as bad as he's been playing and he's not as good as his contract. He's just talented role player. It's not his fault that Al left, he thought Al was coming back. That said, he should go into the off-season seeing that he needs to prepare for more responsibility. Dwight might not save your ass but he can still play.
He might not be as bad as i said he was, but i just wish he would retire the Baze Gaze.

I personally don't think there is anyone that would want Bazemore anymore. I think he probably got one of the best deals in sports history for what he can actually provide. Amazing how the Hawks would pay Bazemore, but not Demarre and now they are not even going to consider paying Millsap. Bazemore is going to be a big time hindrance to the Hawks future going forward unless Bud can accept it that he is nothing more than a scrub player they paid 70 million dollars.

I take back everything bad I've ever said about Timmy. Dude made big strides in his redemption tonight. Absolutely killed it.
Baze on the other hand ... shyte. Dude can't even get a decent percentage of his free throws.
Bazemore's main concern is getting that pathetic Baze Gaze on film every night. I'd pay to not have to see that mess.

Well, guess Scott won't be involved with the Spurs game today.
The Hawks have assigned Mike Scott to the D-League. Will play for Long Island Nets tomorrow.
Wish they were sending Muscala and Bazemore with him. I'd keep Scott myself though.

Hoping you can help Spud with the trade talks with the Suns. Think he is becoming an agent soon. Baze at fifteen with no offense or defense more than two games in a row that we have seen for Dudley's three point percentage and Tucker's defense for a total of fifteen. Kelly hasn't found an apartment yet, right? Everybody fits on the roster.
We could always sweeten a deal with Bazemore being a fill in option for injured cheerleaders on the prospective teams in trade talks.

For me personally, i have been wishing we could beat the Spurs more than even Lebron and the Cavs. Popovich would never acknowledge it but i guarantee he says to himself that this Hawks team is never going to beat me, not in this lifetime.LOL.

I think it's an exceptional accomplishment having a rider on the Rollercoaster like Bazemore, and still manage to be fith in the East.

If you look at the stats, Howard and Schröder are doing better than Horford and Teague
Horford 15 pts 7 reb 5 assts
Howard 14 pts 13 rev 1 assts
Teague 15 pts 4 reb 7 assts
Schröder 17 pts 3 reb 6 assts
Dwight is grabbing 6 more boards a game than Horford and Schröder is outscoring Teague by 2 and continuing to improve.
So why is our record so much worse than last year? Is it the chemistry? Is it our 2 & 3 spots? If we could just get decent & steady
production from those spots, we could compete with the top teams.
It's not just this year, we were swept by Minnesota last year also. A team has deep problems when you can't compete with teams like the Timberwolves.

This has to come as a shock to Muscala and Bazemore, they probably thought of themselves as elite pure shooters.

Atlanta is a transient/international city with a penchant for stars, simple as that...
I have a better explanation, just lame ass fans.

"I have a dream" that one day the Hawks could compete with a team like Minnesota. Guess i'll have to settle for the Knicks.

As long as Bazemore is getting significant playing time the Hawks are going to be a handicapped team, having to work their way back out of the messes he causes when he is in the game. I am just surprised Bud is not intelligent enough to realize this, or is he going to be forced to play the 70 million dollar cheerleader out of money obligation.
-
I am happy with the teams effort. I am sure that was painful for Bud to have to break down and start the "lowly" Kris Humphries but I new he would perform well given the chance. On another note Bazemore is a train wreck out of control. I'd pay 20 bucks a game for them to not show that Baze gaze no more.LOL.

And of course Bud sat on his hand as usual as we got pounded on the boards which was the difference in the game. Minnesota couldn't buy a shot last night but second chance opportunities got them over the Hump. Its bizarre to me that he avoids criticism except from a select few for making those type of decisions on a regular basis
I would love to be able to talk to Bud in person and enquire about his mystifying lineup decisions and his undying love for Muscala, and his prejudice against Humphries.

I can't figure this team out. The weirdest team in my 30 years of being a Hawks fan. One day I wanna tank, the next I think we have a shot at the finals.
Ill roll with it. Kind of have no other choice. Lol.
I think i would lean toward the tank train of thought.LOL.

I guess at some point discussions with Lurker become pointless because there is no logic to his argument. He was dogging Muscala the entire night even though he was one of the best players for the Hawks tonight. Tonight was the perfect time to play Hump to take pressure off of Millsap but yet he will argue that Bud was right in not playing hump even thought the result was a loss. You win Lurker Good night!
I thought Lurker was female.LOL.

He's played 20 games and 10 minutes per game in those, a PLENTY big enough sample size. He's been total trash this season and has never been a good NBA player.
He needs to be cut. So do Kelly ed to miss the games Humphries has played a lot in this year so I guess i am going to take your word on it.
If Millsap left in the Off-Season, would you hate him as much as you do Al Horford?

Bud probably thinks that would be a step toward a championship if he could get Muscala into a starting role.
