  1. Cuban is obviously trying to win it all now, and is not concerned about the future at this point. That is way, way too much money for him.
  2. It's finally over. I'm glad.
  3. Derek

    Drobnjak's site

He needs to update his site since he will be in a Hawk jersey now.
  4. How do you pronounce Drobnjak?
  5. I say use the rest of the money we have to acquire Swift and another SG and PG. I'm tired of Dampier myself.
  6. If he doesn't think he can help this team grow into a winning situation, I don't want him. I don't want any player who doesn't think this team can win. Pull the offer, BK, and lets give that money to Swift.
  7. I think the Kings may have come out better on this, and the reason being is that Indy already got it's shooter in Stephen Jackson. You can never underestimate defense, and Ron Artest is a great defensive player.
  8. I can't say I blame him.
  9. I'd love to have Bobby Jackson in a Hawk's jersey. The problem is, we don't have anyone that the Kings would be willing to give Jackson up for.
  10. I think we should really sign Damon Jones, now. And fast.
  11. Even though it will probably be a late rounder, it' still good to grab a first rounder. It always increases your options.
  12. I think Aldridge actually stepped down. ESPN would be insane to fire the best NBA analyst/repoter they have.
  13. Why? We already have Josh Smith to develop and Al Harrington to play the 3 and/or 4. We really don't need another developmental player here. If we get anyone, it should be an established player. Another thing to consider: Diaw can do all the little things. He can rebound, pass, and play excelelnt defense. All he needs is to contnue to find his offensive game and he will be a complete player and a valuable asset to the team. He's only 22.
  14. Woodson realizes Smith's potential, but he also realizes he has a very long way to go. To some extent, most of what Josh was doing in the summer leagues was due to his unreal athletism, which is scary. However, a player cannot make it in the league based on pure athletism. Josh Smith is going to have to work hard and consistently improve his game. That's all that Woodson is saying. And Woodson is not going to cut him any slack just because he is 18. That's a great way to be, because Josh needs to know that he is not there just yet. Now just imagine if Josh gets a good grasp of all the fundamentals and learns how to play in the NBA. Wow.
  15. Quote: the ass coach I'm sure you meant assistant (asst.) coach. None the less, that was hilarious. I wish we all could give Bilas an interview.
