Think about this. How many of the Hawks players have never been on another NBA Team? Very Few. So all the players have played this game before however they did not have problems holding the ball. If they did I don't think they would be around to be on the Hawks team. With that said. How much of the turn over problem can you really put on the players?

If a Coach designs plays, He needs to Teach them to the team and they practice and practice until they know that play second nature.

With that said I would like to know where the problem lies. In the coach or the Players?

I would not expect to give a 55 dollar seat away for a buck. I mean everyone would just wait until an hour before the game and have great seats. It would be a line all the way to the dome if that happened. Of course you would do the upper level first. Then let the crowd boosters give away prizes up there to get them to come back. But anything in the 100 sections would be off limits. Plus that is where I like to sit and I don't want to have to fight for seats.

For all those seats that you are recieving nothing for you could at least get $1 for them. Then you could sale more hotdogs, bear or whatever. Not only that but that is just one more root root root for the home team. Last night alone could have been at least 5,000 more dollars. thats not even a sale out. But think about this 5,000 more fans seeing a 25 point win over your old coach. Somebody would return to see another game and the fan base will grow so will the loyalty.

I don't think that "fire the coach" is the bandwagon that people are jumping on rather they were there last year. The bandwagon acualy is give him a chance with the new team. But they sub patterns were the complaints we had last year. Nothing has changed he just has more and better people to do it with. So there are not as many complaints because the team is covering it up.

You know I have to agree with Diesel on this one. This whole Lon motivated the team stuff has me kinda concerned anyway.

What could you tell me if I was JT to get me motivated. Do you tell me hay stay focused on being a PG for the rest of the season in the mean time I am looking to get a better suited PG in the offseason so you will probably move back to SG where we don't really expect you to do that good because you are not big enough. Yes that motivates me.

What do you tell DJ hey keep up the good work but we don't expect much out of you until next year anyway so we are going to bring this CBA'er in to fill your void and maybe teach you somethings while he is here.

Hey IRA we need you to come in and take care of somethings until I real player is better. But keep working your a** off for us and we may think about you next year if someone else is not good enough for us.

Hey the rest of you healty guys I want you to show me what you have now because next year when my real players come back we will not see much of you. So if we don't trade you, drop you, or you get hurt. Then we will bring you in for a couple of cameo apperences next year.

Guys I was not there but it is not much a coach can keep telling me to finish the season as if it matters to anyone. I think a lot of that motivation was personal just as diesel explained. Just like the summer volunteer workouts. I know I am biased because I don't particularly think Lon should be here but I just don't see how to give Lon much credit for the motivation last year.

So that means as of right now Dj does not have a paycheck coming in? Man that has to hurt. Thats like adding injury to pain.

Hendu is back. He is the Hendu I used to like. He is the Hendu that got The most improved player award. Do you think that it could happen twice. I mean he is playing above the rim. Getting vertical dunks. I remember Hendu would have a wide open shot on a break away and he would lay it up. He can jump again. Grabing boards, Not getting pushed around, Dunking the ball. So far he has my own Personal MIP award.

I hope he is better than Harvey. I mean I am just not feeling harvey. He seems a bit slow and a bit lost to me at times. I just don't get that good feeling about him. What does he add to the team?

maybe its me but it seems as if everyone has thier share of Three's. Don't get me wrong I don't mind us hitting them I really don't mind some of the Hawks taking alot of them. But it seems that everybody tries. I mean Ira Big dog reef Jt Hendu it seems as if we take more outside shots then inside. I would like us to have more of an inside game.

I keep hearing about CC coming back in a few games. Does anyone know his status? How long is he out. Is it a couple of weeks or a couple of games.

I am going to love seeing Ham and CC come out there and just run thier second string to the ground.

Nice way to break it down graymule. This will keep us from thinking that the media and company are just plain stupid when they don't vote the Hawks Most improved.

Year after year I have to hear from friends and family. " How could you be a fan of a team like the Hawks, they don't win and other fans won't even cheer for them at the games." I just shrug my sholders and say you will see. I tell them don't come running trying to go to the games with me when they start to win. This year when they see this team win I am just going to look at them and smile. What a great season this is going to be.

I agree. The only thing I fear is that these first games will be an important for the pace of the year. If they win a lot of games in the beginning of the season I believe it will help them to believe more in reaching there goal. They are hype now. Go with that. Let that adrenalin flow. Wiith the adrenalin of CC and ham + the tallent of our big three.......Man who could stop us.

I worry that lon is going to baby Theo, Sar, and CC for the first few games. I am not sure we are going to get 100%. I feel lon may think it is ok to loose a few games to salvage a healthy team. With that said. I give us a 5-5 because we have the pottential to go a 7-5 but on those close games we lose because lon will not push them.

That's ok he will be our little secret.

How is it that we get sucked in to this dudes Hoorahh/boo attitude. I mean you want to respect him as a fan but what is he a fan of. Is he a hawks fan, a NBA fan ,a Reef fan or just a fan of controversy. I have to refrain from responding to everything he says I have to remember what fraim of mind he is speaking from. I do like having him around though. I have to admit he at least speaks what he feels. I know I am pretty much dorment. I come in and read but I don't post much. I guess I am not as intence a fan of the nba as I am of the Hawks. As a matter of fact I pretty much only watch the Hawks. I only watch the other teams when the playoffs come around. So I have to give him his props on that. He atleast has an oppinion on alot of the other players.

We must be careful of our expectations. Prior to the last few years we made it to the second round almost every year only to be kicked out. We demanded more. So Stan and Pete made some changes, the team got worse. Now all we want to do is get back to where we were. Well that’s where you're wrong. I still demand more than what we had. I don't want just the second round. I need at the very least a third round appearance. Please folks don't settle for less because we had less. I am still hungry from 3 seasons ago. If you are not going to give us more, then you have wasted the last 3 seasons. Show me that you made us suffer for a reason.

Yes I am still here. I have not had much to say this summer. I am waiting on some action. When the season starts.
