  1. According to the site the international league pass broadband should work in the floowing countries:

    * Argentina

    * Australia

    * Brazil

    * Denmark

    * Finland

    * France

    * Germany

    * India

    * Italy

    * Japan

    * South Korea

    * Mexico

    * Norway

    * Philippines

    * Russia

    * Spain

    * Sweden

    * United Kingdom

    * Israel

    I'm still not 100% convinced that it is legit.

  2. Then how come there will be no NBA games on german TV this year? Seriously if you try to increase your fan base shouldn't you show more games instead of even less games? And then they wonder why their enormously overpriced pre-season games weren't sold out over here (strangely they did show that lame Wizards-Hornets pre-season game live on TV). There are at least 3 channels that had interest in showing NBA games this season but it seems like the NBA wanted to much money.

  3. Thanks for this, but bummer for me as its not available to Australian residents...looks like I'll have to look for some sort of workaround.

    Supposedly this is the international version of league pass broadband, some people already paid for it and could watch the games yesterday. However there are still some concerns whether it's legit or not, cause you can't watch multiple games at the same time and you can't forward/rewind when you watch archived games also the live support makes quite a lot of spelling mistakes which seems kinda strange to me.

  4. Sony must have done something really terrible to chillzatl and his family, even if he hasn't posted in months as soon as there a PS3 vs. X-Box thread he'll show up and continue his crusade against the evil Sony empire. :saythat:

    My advice would be to choose the system that has exclusives that cater more to your taste (although there aren't many exclusives anymore nowadays) and has the better controller for your hands (most people I know prefer the PS3 controller, but there is one guy that hates the PS3 controller because he thinks it is too small).

    I own a PS3 and I never had a problem with it. The Store might've sucked a little at the beginning but it is perfectly fine now. I never had a problem with online gaming either. The last update upgraded the flash player so now the PS3 internet browser is almost like a normal internet browser (although some sites still look a little messed up).

  5. Yeah that 23ppg thing never happened. Flip's 3 best scoring months ever:

    October 2003: 2 games, 23.0ppg

    November 2003: 12 games, 20.8ppg

    April 2006: 11 games, 14.2ppg

    In his 18 starts 03/04 he averaged 19.2ppg.

  6. In my opinion a more overcrowded UFC can only be a good thing for the fans, might suck for some of the fighters though. ;)

    Is there a pure female MMA organization? If not maybe one will emerge, who knows, I guess there would be a certain niche market for people who enjoy females fight (I personally don't like women beating each other bloody......maybe if they were really ugly I would), I mean there are all female wrestling feds so why not MMA feds too.

    I wonder what Kimbo Slice will do now. UFC obviously isn't an option. Will he go to a smaller MMA fed? Maybe do some K-1? Go back to fighting bums of the street? I think his best option might be WWE if he can handle all the travel, the money is good, he'd still perform infront of a huge crowd and there would be a lot of interesting things they could do with him e.g. a fight with former Sambo champion Oleg Prudius (a.k.a. Vladimir Kozlov) or a tag team with Rycklon Stephens (a.k.a. Ezekiel Jackson) or a "boxing" match against Big Show (like they did with Floyd Mayweather).

  7. Pussycat Dolls are performing now, the fight should start a few minutes after that and I still don't know who'll win. Klitschko hasn't fought in 4 years and doesn't look that good, Peter on the other hand has never impressed me, so the fight is completely open in my mind, but I guess I'll give a slight edge to Peter cause he didn't have a four year break.

    Damn I didn't realize that the fight is in Berlin. :(

  8. Problem is though that Silva is suspended for a year (why didn't they strip him of the title?) and Noons was stripped of the title because he didn't want to defend it.

    By the way am I the only one who doesn't understand why there are promotions in MMA? I mean the only people really profiting from such a system are the league owners (and some fighters that might not get their deserved title shot if it was like boxing). Top Fighters should get more money if everything was like in boxing and "dream fights" like Fedor-Couture could happen easier if there were no leagues (the two camps would only have to agree to the set of rules). In my opinion it doesn't make sense to have promotions in one-on-one sports.

  9. Some article I read yesterday mentioned the $56 million number, I don't know how credible that article was, but I don't think the writer simply made that number up.

    Ortiz could be a draw, but he's also past his prime (not washed up, but past his prime) and I really don't need to see another Ortiz-Shamrock (doesn't matter which one) fight.

    Couture just returned to UFC, so I would be surprised if he signed with Elite XC in the near future and they don't have any exciting opponents for him anyway (only Fedor if they continue working with Affliction, but I read rumours that UFC plans a Fedor-Couture fight in Europe).

    The card yesterday was good, but they need more draws.

    Kimbo just lost a lot of his appeal.

    Shamrocks are way past their prime.

    Gina might lose against that Cyborg lady.

    Ortiz has to wait a few months before his next fight.

    Shields is good, but do people pay (or at least go out of their way) to see him? I don't think so.

  10. They've lost $56 million the last two years and Kimbo is BY FAR their most popular fighter. It's no use if you have skillful fighters that can't draw. The CBS deal was already in danger before the fight. And aren't UFC shows on cable? You can't compare cable to network ratings.
