  1. Yeah I heard it. They are basically slamming Belkin and saying he's embarassing the franchise.
  2. The Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns ran into "procedural issue" Tuesday, holding up a sign-and-trade deal that would send guard Joe Johnson to the Hawks. The Hawks wouldn't reveal the nature of the hang-up, but said the deal had not been finalized. "At this time, there is a procedural issue regarding the reported deal with Atlanta and Phoenix that needs to be resolved," Atlanta general manager Billy Knight said in a statement released through a team spokesman. "That's all I can say at this time."
  3. http://www.nba.com/jazz/Revue/05game10.html Salt Lake City, July 19, 2005 – Game 10 of the 2005 Reebok Rocky Mountain Revue was a run n’ gun battle, as the Sonics beat the Hawks 79-74. Both teams entered into the match-up with a 1-2 record, but only Seattle left with the win. Atlanta came out hot in the first few minutes, putting up 10 points to Seattle’s two, led by Arthur Johnson and Boris Diaw. Josh Childress added a something for the highlight reel with a steal/dunk combo. Seattle tried to start a fire of their own, second-year guard Larry O’Bannon leading the charge with four, but the Hawks defense smothered it. The quarter ended with Atlanta on top 28-18. The tables turned in the second quarter, as Seattle put the heat on with three consecutive steals followed by back-to-back threes from forward Kaniel Dickens to end a two-minute scoring draught and tie the game at 32-32. Seattle recorded an impressive seven steals in the third, led by rookie guard Ezra Williams who had three. Dickens carried the Seattle load with eight points at the half. Diaw kept Seattle’s run under control by pulling down eight defensive boards. Second-year phenom Childress remained relatively quiet, posting only five, at the half; Seattle up 38-35. Seattle held its lead through the third with rookie Alex Scales recording back-to-back buckets before falling to a hard technical from Childress. Teammate Aaron Miles picked up where Scales left off, putting up his own pair of baskets. The Hawks heard from guards Salim Stoudamire and Boris Diaw, each with five. Forward Gyasi Cline-Heard, a force for Atlanta in game seven, chipped in with four boards and three points, all coming from foul shots. Heading into the forth, with Seattle up by two, (53-51), the lead teetered back and forth six times before the Sonics pulled ahead with two minutes remaining. They never looked back. Seattle’s final run came when Scales went down hard again, this one coming from Diaw on an attempted dunk. Diaw and Sharrod Ford led the Hawks with 15 each. Mateen Cleaves recorded 18 points, four assists and two steals for Seattle. The Sonics improve to 2-2. The Hawks fall to 1-3.
