  1. I have not mentioned race once. Race has litttle do to nothing to do with sports. The rest of society yes, but on the floor its all about skill. I hate that people always bring race into the equation when it isn't germain and when it is they shun anyone who brings it up. I hate eminem not b/c he is white ,but b/c he is a bad rapper. And although I shouldn't acknowledge a ignorant comment like this I will White Non sissy baller Jason Williams Black Sissy baller Tim Duncan ( He actually only 50% sissy baller ) Im sorry if I see Suburban kids, Farm boys from Indiana/Iowa/ South Dakota and Europeans playing the same style. Jumpshot, garbage drive, no Dunk, Jumpshot, Gaarbage defense, cry foul. But facts are facts. Look at Kukoc. It not their race, unless the demigods out there still want say blacks are genetically atheletic. Alot of African American players are mixed i.e. Jason Kidd, Mike Bibby. Now tell me what does there racial background have to do with anything. And to add to that I think Europe's only non sissy baller Tony Parker is mixed also. So what is your point. I need to like white player, just b/c their white. That type of racist attide is pointless and has nothing to do with business or basketball.
  2. I have been saying that Theo is key if he returns to form he will be major bait. And if we have sense enough to lose this season we can get a decent pick. If we are skillful we could get Marcus and James(if he is what everyone says), I kinda hope everyones still looking for Eurotrash next draft, it will make it easier to get both I know it wont happen but I would sign D. Collins and Lenny Cooke, and give them 3 years to pan out. 03 -04 Marcus/Smith/SAR/DJ/JT (biggest starting lineup in the league) Nazr/Collins/James(give him a year to dev.)/Glover/DD 03 -04 8 seed 04 -05 champs However I dont want to fly off the handle all these player could prove themselves garbage. Slim hasn't proven jack yet. Collins could flop as well as dd,which I suspedt he will. And Marcus could be another Priest Lauderdale, though I doubt it. So while I would be excited about a lineup like this I still think a wait and see attitude is best. PS. If it did look like we could put this line up on the floor I would just give up on trade hopes and waive Hendu/Kukoc/CC there contracts wont last forever we might as well suffer losing cap room for nothing if we need to to put a lineup of stars on the court. PS in 05 the Hendu/CC/Kukoc's contracts will be up giving us $$$ for new contracts
  3. Oh. I know High schoolers are out of fad so do you think he would drop low enough to get him at 9 or 10 next season
  4. I agree. Wally is so overarated its ridiculous. I remember when Dan Marjle got the kind of press Wally gets. Tell you the truth every time I saw wally play he played that "sissy euroball" actually if we changed his first name to Jurgen he would fit right into the Euroleague. I cant believe Minn. got a scrub like that so high in the draft. Every now and then Mchale starts acting like Babcock.
  5. SOund good, but I remember when I first saw his stat I kept in mind, those are still high school stats. There is a big difference. What I really wonder, does he have an NBA game. He has been playing against pampered rich kids its not hard to dominate them.
  6. ALex English and Rick Mahorn should be interviewing for the Head Coaching Job . Kruger is an idiot. Orlando can sign t-Mac and Hill and probably Duncan next year because players want a coach like him. The same with all the other coaches mentioned except Phil Jackson(he only wins with MJ and Shaq lets see him pull his triangle crap in GoldenState), but point is Hawks need to stop screwing around with overpriced clowns like Kruger. He cant coach and actually hurts the teams bottom line.
  7. I wanted some feedback on these two players Chris Marcus West KY, and Lebron James, who I know nothing about, but everyone thing is the second coming of Jesus. I have see Marcus and although he lacks a lot of fundamentals, and dosen't score anywhere as easily as he should, does show great potential and is the only player (save Eddy Curry) who looks like he could battle Shaq someday. I think when we miss the playoffs we will be in decent position to draft and trade to get both. But, are they worth it ????
  8. No I wasn't in the old accessatlant board but I used to read it all the time. Thanks
  9. Why are you being so profain. There are some therapist that could help you with your problems. Really You need to stop being agry at others for their success.
  10. Okay that was childish. How old are you. I was actually thanking you for your debate and you return with this nonsense.
  11. You know at first you got on my nerves. But you have made this site really fun with you opinions which are always the antithesis of my own. Thanks
  12. If the chose is Smith or Hanno. Let me make it Clear the chose is Leon. but I think Hanno has the potential to be a good backup. Nothing more nothing less.I think hanno need more PT give him a year.
  13. How do you know how good I am. You don't know if I'm an athelete or not. So stop trying me. Make your arguments on there merits.
  14. No I didn't know that about the sonics , but I did know their roster was garbage. Sloan is in my third tier. Isaih had a young team comparable to the hawks yet he was in reality 1 game from the finals , if he beat Scott and the Nets he would have buldozed to the finals. People dont notice it but young players blossum in his system.
  15. I dont think it is physically possible for ratliff to sustain any more injuries, but who knows.
  16. Lon has to go! The best coaches in the league are Nate McMillian, Maurice Cheeks, Isiah Thomas, Byron Scott and Doc Rivers. Next tier Silas (N.Orleans), and maybe Phil Jackson. The hawks next coach needs to be cut from this fold.

    Hanno

I think its pretty well known that I'm no fan of Eurotrash. But I think Hanno has caught a bad wrap. Hanno has never been given a real chance. Even Charles Barkley praised Hanno in a game he covered for TNT. Hanno isn't a center and that idiot Lon shouldn't be playing him there. Hanno wont be a star, but we could use a role player here and there. Besides he is a h@!! of a cheaper than the potential gone arye we call Hendu. PS Europe still prodes second rate clowns.
  18. I will join in. HA HA AS sceptical as I am about DD I still don't see any need to chase after another point if we did it would be JV.
  19. I don't know it still sounds like a deal that would screw orlando, They could get a lot more for MM. If Babcock was the magic's GM it would probably go down. But unfortunately he isn't. PS does anyone remember when that (censored) traded Kenny Smith for Blair Rassmussen.
  20. I agree except I think if Rattler has a good enough season we can add Kukoc(if he has even an onze of trade value) and package Hendu in the trade for a qaulity player and filler that could be dumped maybe someone on IR. Meanwhile we could spend 2 mill or less a year for 3 or 4 projects. In 2003-4 we will suddenly have a young dangerous team i.e Indiana, Boston or LAC next season. PS. Are there any clauses for a buyout of CC contract.
  21. Improving but still not there. I wouldn't mind either trade, that is if we could waive DeClerq. But I need to check out the contracts on these players I dont think these match up in terms of Cap rules. Thank God your not posting utterly insane trade ideas today
  22. If all we gave up was Nazr I would be willing to do it. We could always let Leon Smith be the backup Center, it would speed his development and I think getting more than 5 minutes/game playing time would boost his confidence and game awareness. But I dont think O-town would be stupid enough to give him up for a pud like Nazr.
  23. Good points I dont think Hendu or CC are trade bait, but if theo returns to form he is major trade bait next year. I think we can unload one of our sorry players. But I think we need to spend two years develop some project players i.e. L.Smith Dangelo Collins, Lenny Cooke and Tony Key, if I could even figure out what happen to him. I dont think ATLANTA, a top 10 market, will lose its franchise. Besides it would take 2 or 3 great players to push us over the top, let focs on finding superstars. I dont want to stay in the lottery for 3-4yrs. Just 1 more, if we go high in the draft we will be able to get a trade worked out for a star. Remember SAR a #3 pick and a couple of average players.
