NBADRAFT.net has Atlanta receiving 2 top ten picks (one from Boston). What are the stipulations for this second pick? My understanding was that it was lottery protected and if Boston was in the lottery we wounldn't receive that pick until 2007.

Are you kidding? Rondo drove by and around his man all night. He got into the lane and when the bigs stepped in his way he dished to someone for a wide open shot. Unfortunately, Kentucky wasn't hitting those shots much. But Rondo was very impressive at the point. He can score, just didn't tonight. His jumper needs work, but he can get to the rim and get his points.

He said that he felt the NBA would act very quickly on this matter, possibly deciding by tomorrow. Kasten said that Stern has the authority to remove Belkin as Governor at his own descretion. This was the route that he felt was most likely. Kasten commented on the turmoil within the Hawks owners and how there had been conflicts that the public did not even know about, but would definitely be brought to light in the next few days. I think we got a glimpse of this in BK's recent disclosures. The conversation with Kasten led me to believe that we would have a new Governor very soon and that JJ would be in a Hawk's uniform. Buying out Belkin is another matter, especially since he has waited so long to be involved with the NBA.

This gives me hope. Hopefuly Stern will help put this situation in order and do the right thing.
