  1. Bass would be good, but I like Leon Powe. He's coming off an injury and the Celtics might not even resign him. He also might come cheap b/c of the injury. He gives us a low post presence. I would be more concerned about keeping Zaza though... looks like Houston is going hard at Gortat

  2. Vortex burgers are pretty dope! EARL & 5 Guys are right there too

I've been wanting to try Ann's Snack Shack, but I've heard she has rules if you want to eat at her place.... something along the lines of only a certain amount of people at a certain time and no cursing...

  3. Alade Aminu from GT should definitely get an invite and he's hometown kid, Garret Siler of Augusta state & Heytvelt should all battle it out

all three are different players though Aminu is more of an athletic big, Siler is the big bruiser type, Heytvelt is more of the jump shooting big

  4. I've seen Siler play the past 2 years, He's Slow, but he's big, tough, and a banger. He supposedly lost 25 lbs so he should be quicker than the last time I saw him. he's an Average rebounder, would probably battle Randolph Morris for the 3rd string Center position. Only thing is we dont even have a 2nd string center....

  5. wow just watched the vid... he's lost a good bit of weight there, when I saw him play he was very chunky, and didnt move too well. He's a Decent rebounder, Defense is a bit suspect (due to slow footedness, but losing the weight probably helps in this department) he does shoot a high %, but I'm not too sure that will translate to the NBA too well since he was playing Division 2 college competition and most of the centers here are 6'7-6'8. He's the same age as Randolph Morris, but looks like he's willing to work hard. Should be interesting to see them two battle it out

  6. I've seen Garret Siler play the past 2 years now when they played us... he's huge, but doesn't move too well. Decent rebounder, Defense is suspect, but he does shoot a high %, but I'm not too sure that will translate to the NBA too well. I think he drops out the whole draft all together, and can be picked up as an undrafted rookie. He's the same age as Randolph Morris and doesn't seem to be any better. He is about 40lbs bigger though and would probably good for taking up space and fouls, but that's it.

  7. I'm kinda open to drafting Hansbrough, he measured at 6'9.5 with shoes on, so he's about the same size as Al. I cant quite remember who said it (either Sund or Dominique), but i read it on this board that we were looking for a Reggie Evans type player, Hansbrough could be that guy with a little bit more offense. As much as I would hate for us to lose Zaza, I think a team is gonna offer big Z a lot more money than what we would pay him.

  8. Are you sure that they had the picks correct? Because looking back at the 2006 draft (only one I've checked so far) they were right on every pick in the 1st round (I think) and there's no way that's true. I think that they went back and changed their mock to the actual draft. I'm sure that we probably have one or more of their mocks posted in this forum from previous years so I'll see if I can find one.

make sure u click on the Mock Draft archives and not the actual drafts

    Here's their 2007 mock draft http://www.nbadraft.net/mocks/2007_nba_mock_draft.html

    Here's the archive

  9. Captain Jack is signed to a reasonable price BUT is signed to the 2012-2013 season and is already 31 yrs old

    2009-2010 $7,650,000

    2010-2011 $8,453,250

    2011-2012 $9,256,500

    2012-2013 $10,059,750

I'm kinda iffy trading Marv for him straight up, but I do like what he brings to the table. Maybe the Warriors will do Speedy+ Mo for some cap relief, but I doubt it.

  10. So what buyout was Yi dealing with that required him to play in a big market? Please this has nothing to do with the buyout, it's a Fegan special. Rubio would make guranteed rookie scale for the #2 pick no matter where he went and I'm not sure you've heard but we're in a down economy. Guys haven't been making much in endorsements even before the economy went down, not even Nike is handing out 100mill contracts like they did to Lebron, I think Durant eked out 1.5 at best. So all that leaves is local endorsements and I doubt Del Taco is going to be handing out million dollar contracts to offset his buyout. I'm confident that whatever club he gets drafted by would work out a deal with the buyout, this is just Fegan trying to put more dollars in his own pocket.

that Del Taco line got me cracking up LOL
