u dont need to have the Gold membership to DL the roster updates/sliders, just internet connection and sign up for the FREE silver membership...thats what im using, i dont have wireless but i have a 50ft ethernet cord running from my room lol

a lot of the roster downloads are pretty accurate try the OS OUTSIDERS (www.operationsports.com) roster or RASHIDI's Roster files (www.thereak2kinsider.blogspot.com) they are more accurate than the actual updates (Morris, Hunter & Gardner are not in the original game, but i believe Morris was added on the official update, but i never use those...like i said i prefer the ones from Rashidi or the OS Outsiders

u got numerous sliders to choose from pick one that suits your style

but yeah its definitely an upgrade from 2k8...spacing and defense is noticable

one issue i have been having is points in the paint...The cpu just seems to score in the paint a lot more this year

but yeah its worth it man

he cant be any worse than Shelden

but I'm 24 im about to grad the next semester with a degree in Communications Media Studies/ Broadcast Journalism...though i do go to a smaller Div. 2 school I do work for the basketball team as the Public Address Announcer & also the newspaper and internet radio station and the connections you get doing work around campus and in the field of your interest are worth it. Plus it beefs up your resume. If you're worried about the loans, look for a smaller school in your area that offers the degree you want. You can always transfer out if you dont like it, but you can take your cores while you're at a smaller school and pay half the price.

i've been doing developments...i like them better this year b/c they added more drills that can actually help you when playing...the challenge shot is really good, and 3pt shooting is cool too....i had to put Marv on there to help out his rating...the CAP feature kinda bothers me b/c the facial sliders are limited...there arent any eyebrows, so the created players all look like they have drawn on eyebrows...yikes!...overall good game, defense is wayyyy improved

yeah 2k will also have the realistic updates, but you can also edit them yourself right when you get the game so you dont have to wait for the update.

That was kinda funny LOL, but the Adaptive AI looks really promising, I will be getting this game tuesday! but anyways Marv's 3pt rating on 2k9 is on a 57 I believe so i'm not suprised they were'nt guarding him on the perimeter

I see kids with kids all the time where I work and I know one thing, they can get REALLY expensive! I feel for them when they see the prices of things like carseats, diapers, cribs and such. I can see the look in their eyes of having no one there to help them, I think its good that you are there for your niece, but you also have to draw the line somewhere and let her take responsibility.

I was stating that I appreciate the movies giving the import scene some recognition. When I was in it, I managed a large import performance/car audio store. Those movies did wonders for our business. We were the only high end performance parts store in our area that was mainstream.

The inaccuracies I was referring to was simply things like cars shifting through 8 or 9 gears in scenes, certain things supposedly doing things to cars that they really don't. Stuff like that. I know it's movies, but the hardcore fans caught those things.

I think the timing on this 4th movie might be a little late. The import scene seems to have died down a little. The economy has even hurt it somewhat.

FYI, I am a member of one of the largest car clubs in the U.S. and used to shoot for a couple of car mags. That's how I got my name "dragitoff". I sold my last magazine/show car about 1 year and a half ago, but still love cars of all types and even car movies.

all those eurolights and underbody neons and decals surely put +50 HP to your civic! LMAO this movie series put the import scene on the spotlight and brought a lot of "ricers" to the scene that I once loved. I still have my car, and I still do all my own work to it, mainly just maintenance, but I no longer do any "tuning" to it anymore just a car to me now.

As long as it doesnt have Lil Bow Wow it should be some what decent. I have never been a fan of this movie series because of what it did to the whole import scene once it came out. IMO it ruined for the ones that were really doing it for the love instead of trying to be the next cool thing parked slanted taking up two parking spaces at your local AMC.

Some of the inaccuracies of the top of my head was when someone mentioned they had a cold air intake and a turbo, also johnny tran had a Honda 2000
