Gotta give him credit...he's really improved a lot. I used to cringe when he looked like he was going to shoot a jumpshot.

i don't see why people would cringe when he used to shoot, his shooting motion is one of the prettiest i've seen. He jumps to his high point and releases it w/ a good arc.

  2. I really think Smith's attitude has improved tremendously comparing to last year. There are now no question about his talent and drive to improve. This is one thing you have to give props to Woodson. Smith has nowhere to go but up

Warriors are a high scoring team. To hold them to 106 is a victory for the Hawks. Hawks allowed them 122 I believe earlier in the season. Look at the positive here. Hawks came back after a crushing defeat against the Heat and won. Great sign of growing and maturing from the Hawks there.

especially starting the 4th a point down.

I don't think he is aggressive at all..Getting to the foul line is an important part of any scorers game..I think comparing him to Carmelo is completely fair..They are both 3's with one year of college..

oh please, thats such a cheap shot.

1992: alonzo mourning, 2nd pick, center, 4 years of school

1993: shawn bradley, 2nd pick, center, 4 years of school

your logic is about as strong as mike tysons vocabulary

    burned.

How about this one? Esteban Batista gets elbowed in the head, gets bent over backwards, and has Shaq fall on him, slamming his head into the court, and somehow Batista is the person that committed the foul.

it should've been a flagrant foul too

if woodson had any backbone, he'd lay down the hammer, blow a gasket and get ejected in the process of letting the refs know that that BS won't fly...

set an example, make a point, do something woodson...

i agree, holding back is not going to gain us any respect.

He played solid D on Sheed. Sheed's shot was off but Al did a good job of making him work for his shot. He did a good job passing the ball to open guys as his 4 assists indicate. He also hit some big shots (6 of our 22 pts in the 4th). It wasn't his best game but he contributed and at least held his own when matched up with a likely All Star PF in Sheed.

i think it's just sheed's will to not make the allstar. :O I doubt Al's D did much w/ sheed, he's been struggling

Actually, we ought to trade Zaza too.

Even though Zaza leads all big men in Oreb and steals, He provides nothing for us. I think Batman given more time could do just as well as Zaza. Zaza makes too much money to keep around when his defense is so bad.

umm how is zaza making too much money? He's locked up for next 3 years at 4 million. It's reasonable at worst. AL is up for a huge contract..

  9. what about Eddie Griffin + 1st for AL. Griffin's put on some muscles since he came into the league. He's a 4 in the west and could play the 5 in the East. He's a shot blocker like smoove and has been putting up decent rebounding numbers (One less than AL in about 15 minutes less per game). Griffin has not been given the full chance to play to his potential, and he's only 24 years old.

He averaged 10.3 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in games he played at least 30 minutes.
