Why not Wiseman?

I would trade our forwards to Toronto for theirs in a hot minute. Before someone comes on saying it can't work I'm only dreaming.

With 3 minutes to go why shoot a 3pter from the logo. Just not a good shot.

I know from a salary perspective this wouldn't work  but I think these two players would be nice additions to the team. Let the Gm work it out if possible. 

If the Hawks feel like they have to trade JC can they ship him to GSW for Wiseman and Moody.  I would be Ok with this return.  I haven't checked the logistics but can it work? 

Although I have some issues with JC especially around physicality  I don't want to see him traded but used different.  But I would have considered a Rui, Daniel Gafford trade for sure.  Not sure if it works but we could have gotten a good shooting wing in Rui and some needed size in Gafford. Doubt if we could have done better at this point. 

Good win. Love how JC was used . Collins has to get minimum 12 to 15 shots per game. He needs to be used  filling the lane in fast breaks,early post ups in transition along with lobs. Trae played a good point guard game. He didn't dominate the ball,he kept it moving and didn't hunt shots or compete with Luka to the detriment of the team. Loved the effort and how Trae closed the game out. Get everyone involved then close it out in the fourth quarter by taking good shots and getting to the foul line.  I like this squad, don't want to see Collins traded. Going forward I hope they can add size, better use Collins and play with more pace. No need to break up this core. Further development of AJ and JJ will help as well.

The thing with Trae is to be decisive.  Don't hold the ball when a double is coming and get it out quick.  Because if the ball moves correctly, it's going to come back to him with the opportunity for him to take an open shot or get a lob to a big.

A pg doesn’t have to dominate the ball to the level in which he does. They brought Murray here to get the ball out of his hand and he still dominates the ball instead of moving the ball. This has caused problems with his teammates and coach who want to run and move the ball. The team plays much better when they play this way and includes the whole team. Take a look at the difference in the first half and second half. The Hawks went up 26 points when they were running and moving the ball. Second half they stop moving the ball,and slowed the pace and had to hold on to win the game. 

Good win. Need to listen to the coaches and find another veteran physical big man.  If the coaches say play with pace then play with pace. Move the ball and stop playing iso.

Not true.  Trae dominates the ball way more than Murray. 

Play some defense make your free throws and go home. 

Trae has to stop holding the ball. Keep the ball moving.

Hawks are a much better team when they play fast and move the ball. When Trae slows the game down and starts hunting shots they fall apart.  They need to get Collins involved which they can do by playing fast. He has to be more physical.  He has to stop letting guards and small forwards  prevent him from getting low post position. Play like a power forward. He needs to get stronger.  Hawks win this if they play faster, move the ball and play some defense.  Also don't let Butler bully them down the stretch.

Got to find some size that csn play defense,rebound and protect the rim.. Offense would be nice but i'll settle for good defense and some physicality. The Hawks would look like a totally different team.

Hawks are a different team when they run. They need to run the ball down the throat of teams. Trae and DJ both can run the fastbreak. Trae can take over in the 4th quarter crunch time.

Talking Hawks basketball with my  son and he laughed at me. He said no one outside of Atlanta takes the Hawks serious. He said " The Hawks are Food! ".  Good teams feast on the Hawks.  He stated the Hawks and Trae may make a highlight reel but who cares when they lose the game.  My son who grew up in LA during the showtime era says other than the ECF the Hawks have been nothing but food for the rest of the league.  Of course I got mad but is he right.  He laughed when the Hawks were coming back against the Lakers and Trae shot an ill advised 3 pter and he said see, the Hawks got problems, fun to watch but not winners.

Unlike many I don't think the situation is hopeless.  They definitely need to make a few changes but I think they can right the ship and become very competitive. The Hawks have a lot of athletes now they need to add some BB players with some toughness, BALL IQ and experience in winning.

Have the Hawks ever committed a hard foul? They continue to get bullied.  Hard to watch such a soft team.

Love it when the Hawks are running.  We need to find a way to unlock JJ. Too much talent to squander. 

Hawks are seriously in need of some muscle  and size. Physicality, just a little please. Quit getting bullied.

Lay some wood on these teams that feel like they came go in the lane and do anything they want !!!

John Collins  needs to get stronger.  Maybe put on about 10 lbs. Hopefully that would help keep him off the floor and win some contested rebounds.

Lakers have 19 fast break pts to 0 for the Hawks.  This should never happen.  Losing by 25pts. Hopefully they will come back in the second half.

Glad to see the Hawks include JC in the first half. They must continue feeding him in the second half.
