  1. Hey guys, long time no post. Its been so long, that I don't even know what forum to post this in (so feel free to move, mods, or delete if spam). Either way, I used to be fairly active here and let myself go, as it were.

Anyway, I've got an autographed Dominique ball I need to get rid of. You can buy it on ebay, or contact me off-forum, but I'd like to get rid of it. Lemme know and go Hawks.

  2. Who is going to trade a Max Center?

That is a tough one. I was thinking Clippers since they have two quality centers, but Camby is ancient and Kaman is sitting on a nice long contract right now. We'd have to find a team that has a capable back up center and needs forward help. I'd have to research it.

The second option is to find a big man in the draft. That means passing on a guard in the first round to get Aldrich, Vesely (not good defender, but big upside), or possibly Jerome Jordan. Thabeet would be great, but he will never slip that far. Since there just aren't that many big men out there, we may need to think about doing that. If not, we could wait until the second round and if the big name defender centers are gone we pick up Miroslav Raduljica from the International league. At 7' 240 lbs and 21 years of age, he could be the defensive answer we need in the paint for future years. Those are big hopes, but it is possible. . .

Bottom line, if we can't make a move for a true C already in the NBA then we need to address this concern with the FIRST TWO ROUNDS of the draft. Benefit of drafting a C?? You can pay young players less, so we wouldn't have to hunt for money in the PF pool by saying goodbye to JS.

As opposed to the third or fourth round??? :write a letter: ?????????? :cant believe:

Al/Josh will be a dominant pairing for years. There are hardly any centers I'd trade for Smoove.

  3. Mr. Negativity has spoken.

You're a good fan ex. Keep up the good work.

    Wow. Fail.

    That wasn't exodus.

If you'll notice, you quoted High5, who has the same avatar as exodus except many fewer posts and uses capitalization. Just sayin'

  4. Josh Smith is a helluva lot better player than Woodson ever was. Woodson is also the worst coach, at any level above high school, that my eyes have ever seen. So, how dare you defend this incompetent lifelong loser. If it weren't for Mike Bibby, in large part, we would be exactly where we were last year. Which is somewhere around the area of really sucking. Now, we just barely suck and Woody may keep that paycheck. He should keep his

mouth shut. Woodson never understands the moment at hand. Or the bigger picture.

What kind of man shows respect for an incompetent loser? How long would you stay at your job if you felt your boss was worthless and holding back you and the company? See, you can leave. Josh tried to. It wasn't really his choice. You can only stare at repeated incompetence so long before you blow up. Which, Josh invariably does because of this. He's a relatively good, humble guy. He wants to be coached. you can hear it in his own words. He just knows Woody is no coach.

Really, it's absurd to me how anyone can defend Mike Woodson.

    :beathorse:

I'll give you four numbers that can defend him.

    41-28.

We've improved every year under Woody and are poised to make a huge jump next year.

  5. Yeah I saw that too for like a second and I was like WTF is that. I thought maybe Chillz had something going on on the side that I wasn't aware of.

We're better off not being partnered with the Hawks though since nobody can tell us what we can and cannot do on this site when we run it on our own.

I agree, the hockey board I post on is owned by the team, there's no cursing, no videos, and if you debate even barely heat-edly you are told to take it to PM, and people get suspended all the time.

    Game Preview:

Coming off two of their biggest wins of the season, the Hawks look to remain undefeated on their seven-game homestand Friday night as they face an Indiana Pacers team that may see All-Star Danny Granger return. Atlanta (37-28) has matched Detroit as the league's only teams to end three opponents' winning streaks of seven games or more.

  7. Geez they look older than that. She's not too hard on the eyes, either...

At any rate, the pressure of that situation was likely to do him in at some point or another.

Dies, your topic titles scare me sometimes man!

  8. I think we get drilled, honestly. Bibby can't guard Paul and neither can Joe, and Horf/Josh really can't deal with Chandler and West. I'm tired of this inconsistency, lets just get to the friggin playoffs :P

Hey, gsuteke, what happened to your souped up awesome game threads from last year? Are you saving all your mojo for the playoffs?
