  1. Stupid thread. Try being a ref before you judge. Fast pace judgement calls are the hardest to make. We didn't get screwed, there's a million other things that happen in a basketball game that could change the outcome of a game. Stop complaining and get ready for this season.

  2. Are you so sure?

Is there anyone from that list outside of the top 8 that if you replaced Jeffrey with them you'd say the team made a definitive improvement right away? That's the problem with ranking small guards these days in a league where even Charles Jenkins (I know you are saying "who?") can drop 27 points or 12 assists at the drop of a hat.

Please, I'm one Teague's loudest detractors in that I feel he's easily replaceable but the thing is so is 85% of the rest of the league's guard corps. Unlike Josh who is firmly entrenched between 6 and 8, Jeffrey can be anything between 10 and 200 at any given moment. It's neither praise nor damnation, it's just the facts.

In my honest opinion, no. All those teams would not be as good. I think Irving, Jennings, Dragic, Wall etc etc are all better. But I love Teague and I don't think he's even close to done improving. He'll keep getting better especially this season

  3. Ok... I have to chime in right here. Just because we have non-superstar starters and BUs doesn't mean that we have a deep team. I would love to be depthless like the Lakers.

The Lakers actually have good depth this year. Jordan Hill, Antawn Jamison, Jodie Meeks, Chris Duhon off the bench.
  4. A much, much, much harder list to compile because due to handchecking rules any midget guard with decent quickness can put up decent stats. You'd have to rank it by who he most definitely isn't better than: CP3 Rose Westbrook Deron Nash Rondo Parker Lawson Literally everyone else is interchangeable in rank at this current juncture as they've either fallen off (Kidd), are rookie/sophs (Irving/Wall), had very short peaks (looking at you, Lin and Dragic), or just aren't definitively better or worse than Jeffrey (Collison, Lowry, Holiday, Jennings, etc).

Every single point guard except for Jason Kidd that you mentioned in this post is better than Jeff Teague. Sorry to say. Not saying he won't develop into better players than some of them but as of right now they are all better.
  5. I would personally like to see Pape Sy come back but as we can see there are still alot of choices to fill our small foward position. I know Pape Sy isn't a traditional small forward but I do hope we save him a spot on the roster.

Why? There is literally not one single reason Pape Sy deserves a chance to play for us. He's awful. He is absolutely horrible defender, the slightest crossover made him break his ankles in every game I ever saw.
  6. I have an honest question for you guys here. I hear a lot of people saying they want Jenkins to start at the 2 guard.. Look, I want him to be as successful as you guys do but Jenkins starting at the 2 will just cause way too many problems. He's a 6'4 undersized shooting guard. He would get beat up by 90% of the starting shooting guards. I think he better fits a 6th man role. I suppose since this year is somewhat of an experimental year we can try him starting at the 2 but long term I don't see it. So what is it exactly that makes everyone want him to START at the 2?
