  1. another politician sticking their nose where it doesn't belong is about all i can take from this. sure their are valid points on either side of the argument, but again it doesn't require one of our many worthless congressmen getting involved. what about those future career politicians that want to start their career as politicians before the age of 25?? can't do it because its not allowed, more hypocrisy from capital hill. PLEASE get to work on something more important and less about getting your name published in as many news organizations as possible.
  2. fairweather fan??? ive been a hawks fan from dikembe-mookie-smith to the garbage years, i think you should re-read where my disgust comes from. it isnt because we lost by 20, its because these lazy pricks didnt give an ounce of energy from start to finish. is it really that hard to work 2-3 nights a week? to make it worse the magic were dedicating the night to our servicemen, so you were looking at a pretty sick dichotomy of service men risking their lives in the worst places in the world for pennies vs. a bunch of multi-millionaires whining and throwing tantrums who play basketball for a living.
  3. ya fellas, ive been following this board most of the season, watching the games on league pass but had to speak up after that garbage. i left at halftime after dropping 70 to sit lower level, it was that pathetic, josh smith is fun to watch but hes a punk. joe johnson attempted to get the team going late first/early second by being assertive until he wimped out, took a technical and moped to the bench. im far from a woody supporter, but the players took themselves out of this game, he had no choice but to play guys like mario, solo, and law if he wanted to keep a shred of credibility. i know it sounds repetitive to say it but IT WAS THAT BAD, tv could not have done it justice. the orlando fans were laughing at the hawks by the middle of the second quarter.
  4. i was at last nights debacle. moved down to orlando a few months ago but am a die-hard atlanta fan across the board. i am as big a supporter of this team as there is and circled this game on my calendar. got off work yesterday, went down to the game and scalped a good seat, in a near sold out arena where scalped tickets werent the phillips arena discount. i am more down on this team than i ever have been on one of my teams. i legitimately feel like i deserve a refund. they not only were blown out, but moped around the court like it was such an inconvenience to be there and then proceeded to lay eggs all over the court. starters quit by the end of the first quarter. josh smith was a good 10 feet from the huddle with a towel over his head during every timeout like a 13 year old. its one thing to have an off night, but to quit like they did was embarrassing. in a time where people are extending themselves in a tight economy to support their teams, these 12 bums couldnt be bothered with their second night of work this week. i will think long and hard before i spend another dime on these losers.
  5. football involves so much complex thinking that everyone on both side of the ball gets together and script every step for the next play. put a high level soccer player in a pickup football game and he holds his own, put a high level football play in a soccer game and he makes a fool of himself.
  6. big ben lost in the conference championship at home against pats. i was in college in downtown pittsburgh that year and have seen all of ryan's starts. ryan is better, and its not even that close.
