Aside from going 7 games and being a bit chippy this was an uneventful series with all the blow outs. I'm a little dissapointed in my team, but I realize there's just not enough spread out talent. You guys managed to slow down Wade and kill us on the glass which was our only chance to win. Zaza was definately an unsung hero for you guys, and Bibby killed us. Hopefully you guys can limit Lebron's production like you did to Wade for you guys to have a chance in round 2. Good luck.

South Beach night life is pretty irresistable, they wouldn't be the first team. The Hawks didn't even show up tonight. I'm not counting them out though, they're pride may be hurt. Usually teams come out firing when that happens.

They'll lose focus. They'll be too impressed by the Heat's unmatched color coordination.

I hope not. No sense in getting a Flagrant in an important game. That said that should have been a 1-sided techincal for that cheap shot, at least.

Well, I can say the Heat aren't as good (offensively) as they played last night, but they certainly aren't as bad as they were in game 1. After 2 games this series has more questions than answers. But lets go Heat :)

It's pretty much a general rule amongst sports fans that you dont wish injury on players(I guess not around here.) It's pretty silly isn't it.. ? to hope someone gets injured because you don't want them beating your team in a game. I guess it's to be expected. All fan bases have their classy fans and then their general pricks.

Not really. He's challenges the bigs on a regular basis. Some of the time he flops on offense to try and draw a foul (or a call) other times he gets hacked/smacked/cracked by bigs. Do I deny Wade gets star calls? Of course not. But you must realize that few can stop Wade going to the rack (on a consistant basis anyway) so they are forced to grab him. With an aggressive slasher style of play, and dare I say one of the greatest slashers the game has seen, Wade earns more trips to the foul line than what is given to him. That's all i'm saying.

I truely hope this series is on the up and up. I personally don't think The Heat were given the title in 06, but I do realize that star players get preferential treatment. I'm sure the NBA is eager to get Lebron vs Wade, as well as they are eager to get Kobe Lebron in the finals. I hope that Nazi Stern doesn't have his officials give this or any series away. If the Heat can't earn it, they shouldn't have it.

haha. That Wade hate has spread rapidly. If you get passed the Heat I promise you'll hate King Crab Dribble more than D-Whistle.

My mistake then. Can't say I recognized the picture, but it definitely looks like he was hurting -- yes I know Wade has a tendency to try and sell it sometimes. -Nice name by the way.

I'd be inclined to agree if.. say.. there was some bad blood or something. But this playoff series hasn't yet begun. A little premature. I was on a Nets forum 2 years ago and they posted pictures of Wade in wheel chair after they were up 1-0 after they routed the Heat. Needless to say the Heat came back and won that series with ease. So my message to you is, watch out for that karma guys.

I don't think you guys should be the underdogs or even are the underdogs. I think people picking Miami to win and people picking ATL to win is pretty evenly distributed. As a Heat fan I don't really know what to expect from this series. Of course Wade is Wade, but after that we rely heavily on rookies and journeymen players. The only guys on this team who have playoff experience are Wade and Haslem, and JO a few years ago. The Hawks talent and production is pretty evenly distrubted, and that seems to be a recipe for playoff success, which was evident when you took it to the Cs last year. On paper i'd say you guys are the favorites. But with what Wade is capable of, and Beasley coming on strong towards the end of the season, anything can happen.
