  1. They always stop sharing the basket ball in the 4th quarter when

they have a lead.Iso Joe/Craw is killing the team

in the 4th quarters. They are giving the other team what it wants.

    CONTESTED fadeaway JumpShots!

No driving to the hoop, no free throw attempts ,no draw and kick

, no posting up , or running plays.

Just dribble , dribble , dribble , fade-away ( clank) over and over.

All the other team has to do is just keep chipping away at the

lead until they have it to single digits , then go in for the kill.

Yeah all they had to do was what they did all game. Swing the ball around and find the open man, easy bucket. That would be a lot less work than going iso. I hate to say it, but it might partly be I'm gonna look bad if I make 18m and don't put up a respectable nimbers. Or I need a contract let me inflate my nimbers.

  2. I, for one, would be pretty happy if Bibby signs with anyone else but us. We need to find out what we have in Teague, and develop his confidence which had hit absolute rock bottom. Bibby addresses non of our weaknesses.

I agree, I'm hoping confidence helps him finish at the rim better.

  3. How much better did Hinrich look than Bibby? Sorry i was wasted at a friends last night.

300% better. Made his first shot as a hawk...which was a 3pt. It was like they passed a torch or something. No disrespect to how bibby helped us when he first came here.

  4. I hope Teague continues to get meaningful minutes, but I hope someone teaches him how to hold onto the ball. Seems like both of our pgs had the ball knocked away a few too many times last night. If getting the ball knocked away is the price to see this team play with intensity, i'll take it.

  5. Teague should not be taking out of starting lineup for Kirk, Kirk looked no better than Teague tonight. He looked just as bad as Teague did off the bench. He was in the game when GS cut lead from 30 to 11 or 12 in a quarter. He should not be rewarded for that.

I hate to play the blame game but it seemed like crawford was getting abused during that run.

  6. i didnt watch this game since im still dealing with the frustration of this team but was this game like the jazz game where we were hot from the perimeter? Or were we actually getting the ball in the paint

The team decided to play with energy and move the ball and of course we looked great when we did. Put the bench in, in the 4th and our 25 point lead feel dramatically, but it was still under control. When hinrich came in we looked like a completely different team.

  7. Yeah it looked like there was a ton of confusion on the defensive end when Teague was in there. Almost like the team had been running a switching D for a really long time. Hopefully they can get that fixed in practice or something.

  8. I see the opposite. Had the Hawks stayed pat they had no chance at gettting out of the 1st round. With Hinrich are biggest weakness (perimeter defense) is strengthened.

The "Defenseless Duo" of Carmelo and Stoudemire will have to prove to me that they are better then the Hawks.

Right now the Magic have been struggling as much as we have.

The Hawks have a very good shot at #4 seed and Hinrich has the ability to play J. Nelson much better then Bibby. I think the Hawks have a good shot at beating this Orlando team in Round 1 and seeing Boston in Round 2. This Hawks team has a lot of confidence against Boston. I would love to see them in the 2nd Round.

I think that is the path through the playoffs that everyone wants, hopefully we end up with it.

  9. Quite honestly....

I was hoping we'd package a deal with Jamal in it and have Jordan take over more minutes. He can score no doubt. He just needs playing time. Shame we had to give him up.

Yeah I think most people were hoping we were able to move Jamal's expiring for something, but he really killed his value this season. He has played pretty poorly this season, I don't know if it was the lack of extension or him just being streaky.

I liked seeing Jordan playing pg, the one time he got on the court, and passing to stone hands. After seeing so many young guards come into the hawks teams with no confidence it was nice to see a guy who had some.

Isn't every fan's wish that a draft pick develops into something? It would've been nice to see him dunk on Lebron.
