I don't want Mike Woodson back. That being said, I wanted to look above him and the GM to our owners. Since the Atlanta Spirit LLC owns the Thrashers and Hawks, I wanted to see if attendance/revenue justified the money spent on payrolls for both teams since they acquired the teams from AOL/TW in 2004. I have provided links just in case someone questions authenticity. :)

2009-2010:
I couldn't find the revenues on the Thrashers and the Hawks aren't done yet (well, not for another few hours).
Final Tallies:
Thrashers - Lost $24.1M, posted a record of 153-142-33 (.466%), averaged 24th in attendance/26th in payroll/28th in revenue.
Hawks - Gained $27M, posted a record of 140-188 (.426%), averaged 24th in attendance/25th in payroll/25th in revenue.
Since I didn't have all data for this year's Thrashers/Hawks, I didn't include it. I do know that the Hawks were 18th in attendance this year but 28th in payroll.
There's the data. You take what you want from it.
