In possession by possession basketball, you see a number of mistakes but usually not 7 minutes worth and I honestly think he could have found more
That was hard to watch. My goodness we are so bad.

We can't have this year's performance from Trae but I'm sure as **** not quitting on him because of this year's down year. If Quin and Landry think that is the right move so be it but as a fan I'll be hoping to see much better offensive and defensive systems from Quin next year, some changes to the roster, and Trae rebounding to scoring efficiency much more like 2021-22 than 2022-23. Trae's challenge should be making Quin's new non-iso system work. I'm not someone who thinks Trae would have been dominated last year had we had a healthy team in the postseason just like Miami didn't do it this year when they suddenly couldn't afford to triple team him.
I know you want Trae gone but I think the more constructive conversation is about how to succeed with him since I don't believe for a second that Quin chose to coach the Hawks but didn't want to try to make it work with Trae. You wouldn't take the Memphis job if you thought JJJ or Ja needed to go, and you don't make an unusually early jump to coach Atlanta unless you believe in Trae.
I really dislike what I see from Trae more often than not, but am willing to see what Quin is going to do with him and the rest of the guys so I don't advocate trading him during the offseason. If we needed to trade him it would be because he didn't buy into Quin's coaching. Let's see if somehow the regular season with a new system draws some interest from Trae. Then if he was unable to change his ways, I would be all for shipping him at the trade deadline.

Yeah.. that's offseason talk.. and when it comes, Quin is going to make a lot of changes...
Both structurally and Philosophically.
I can see a future that may look like: OO, JJ, Bey, AJ, and Trae. But we're a long way from that.
Do you honestly believe Hawks are going to make noise with that lineup? I doubt it but maybe it's just me.

Its crazy people think fans are happy Trae is playing like this.. Crazy..
He's never been that guy that he and some Hawks fans think he is imo, but I still root for the kid.. Geez...
To be fair, Trae was golden in the ECF post season. From that time to nowadays... not really.

Look here now i can want both gone or traded thats allowable my friend lol. I couldn't stand nate as a coach so i'll gladly say im happy he is gone and i like Snyder as a coach much better than him and always have. Now with that said im also fully on board trading Trae for a different star if we can. I don't hate or dislike Trae i just think i can build a different type of team i like better around someone like Brown, Kat etc...
No way. If you want Trae traded you most definitely is a hater and not at all a fan of the Hawks.
Don't try to fool us!

My takeaways....
- Trae needs to learn to run an offense that's more stable. After the 4 turnovers in the first quarter, his playmaking became passive
- JC plays good defense but he needs to find a role in this offense.
- Murray shows up to big games
- We need good POA defenders on this team... we have zero and our whole team gets blown by constantly
- Boston is an extremely well rounded team. They have +players 1-8.
- It's impossible to expect Quin to be able to unwind the bad habits Nate set in for 2+ years. Next year we should start building good habits in the regular season and be in better shape for a playoff run
Spot on. But how can we build good habits when we have players (and fans!) who don't give a rat's ass for the regular season?

This team is terrible on defense and that alone would be enough do doom us in the playoffs, but we definitely have plenty of problems.
Let's see if at home they will show the fortitude and somehow turn the tide.

Hawks can't hit sht today.

Trae has been total ass so far. If he can't do better we're toast.

Cant wait to see his growth next season..
Yeah, the boy will be something else. Though it would be nice if he learned how to make free throws. Otherwise it was a great game.

Now just close them out in the 9th. Or you can pad some more runs in the 8th.
Looking good!
