outside of kemba walker...he owned them all most of the games. again: dennis is a solid third option on a real team. he is not a carry the team offensively alone, while your little frame on countless plays is physically wrecking trough entire defenses. he wont last long in this league with the current play style and much of that caused his lackluster defense, which before the tanking year, whas never an issue.

better than teague and bledsoe though. IT is fun but big black hole on defense. you wont see teams game planning on dennis defense. ur biased guy.

This is a franchise for real fans, not the bandwagoners or faint of heart. So you think that joke of a joke you just told is going to hurt feelings? We can tell whose feelings are hurt.

i honestly think this franchise sucks for reasons. and not just because of this draft, but basically every decision since ferry left has been straight garbage. this draft has just been the cherry on top an not just because young is a freshman hype product that the bugman in charge wants to base this video game startegy around, but also because dennis "the big schwanz lederhosenmaster" schröder becomes even harder to trade.

which i really wish for all partys involved. i can not believe anyone want to the watch the hawks next few years, much less play for this weird organisation when your a guy like dennis who has proven to be the best man on the floor countless times and had the heart to play trough a dwight and a tanking season and getting all the flack.

and also so you and ur ilk can go ahead and enjoy as minutes as possible from the balding guy ymca baller, who "has it all".

Dennis problem is his tools and athletic ability, while very good isn't Westbrook, young Rose, Wall, or others who are elite at it. He's not a good enough PG to justify starting in the NBA without elite athletic ability.

It's that simple. For someone who shoots like him, playmake like him, and makes decisions like him, he needs to be unstoppable to justify starting in the NBA.

doncic can shoot. doncic his body type is sneaky athletic like larry bird. hes all nature and groove and could easily become "more athletic" if need be. but id rather see him minimalize that for his first year.

regarding dennis, ur making up a word salad and resting ur argument on a vague term like impact. have you watched hawks playoff basketball recent years? plz tell me more about impact...

bottomline in this pro sport is that dennis has "impactful" qualities that are head and shoulders above anyone else in his league. his 6.1 length and agile frame is simply asked to do to much and even gets hounded by the fans for it. his game wont age well as it stands.

yes im being a bit of a debby downer regarding young. he also has very nice elegant quick(but transparent) foot work and seems to have a good attitude, but i just dont see how you could ever pass on doncic over him.

aside from doncic superstar potential, he would put the hawks on the map instantly. everyone would find the hawks interesting to watch and follow. more nba tv. more merchandising being sold. the whole of basketball europe would follow this franchise. and sponsors like adidas would work their ways with agents to make doncic a succes and get him good team mates.

dennis is a solid third option in todays game, no matter if he plays pg or not

he had a nice run...in college. then he no langer had a run...in college and dropped off hard. and he just doesnt have quickness and runs like shaq on pcp. hes a great leaper and i like his arms though, which makes up for it a bit, but he wont make crack defenders hesitate. ever...

him being here over doncic is a gm getting high on his own supply, thinking he be the next golden state all by him self by making a next steph curry all by him self. young has no where near the curry natural savy and nowhere near the speed to go with the hops and dips on his release.  him and dennis gonna be a block party.

As a Dennis fanboy after his 3½ years as a Hawk I'm used to people saying he only wants to get his and that he "doesn't run the offense". And I don't even care anymore. Most posters here are happy about his recent development. Dennis is a better starter in this league in my opinion and if he keeps developing he might be an all star in two or three years. But there is absolutely no need to start comparing him to HOFers because he hit his career 1st game winner (which technically wasn't even one because if I'm not misstaken a real game winner is a go ahead basket in the last 10 seconds leading to victory, and his shot was 22 sec before the horn.) - BTW he had at least 3 or 4 other game winner attempts before...

After those two horrible games, Dennis played like a hall of famer last night. Those buckets in the 4th, getting the ball with no/little clock and then doing all that, whas simply marvelous. One of the highlights of his young career. Great win!
