Wow great game, and i think dennis just ruined it-.-

At halftime Germany is down by 3. Very nice game. Pleiß was hasitend early but made 2 alleyoops later on and played beautifully. Dennis plays nice, but has way to many tournover and too few assists. Just checked the stat page says its only 1 tournover for dennis so far and he has 11 points and 2 assists. He shoots 37.5% from the field but 2/4 from 3.

After the first Germany is up 20-18. Dennis is so far the 3rd best scorer of the whole tournament but also the most tournover prone player:D

btw game vs spain is on atm. it looks good for germany. 15-15 with 1:30 to go in the first. Spain obviously is better but germany fights hard. Dennis already with 8 points.

Buschi is like the Hoff. He is terrible, but awesome at the same moment.

Well now the german commentator legend Buschmann calls out Dennis that he is no leader. This is getting stupider by the minute. But at least he says that Dennis needs a mentor for the off the court life. If he got that, he has the chance to be a real good nba player.

But afterall its not Dennis fault. The man is 21 years old and he has the weight of the team on his shoulders. I can imagine some papers will call Dennis out, but that would only show that those papers are stupid since Dennis is so young. And afterall Dirk was very frustrated aswell like everyone was, so I dont think it will have any sort of influence on his position in the team.

and the assist to trunover ratio can not be compared to the nba. The game in europe is fiba rules and much more physical in terms of fouls. He has like 5 passes that would be easy assists almost every game, but either the german players dont convert relatively easy shots, or they get floored hard and cant convert. And the defenses concentrate on him and dirk mostly, that wont happen anytime soon in the nba.

Well germany has pretty much no chances left. Too many players claimed to be injured and prefered to prepair for their next season, but can you really blame them? Its not like they make milions of €. They have to make as much money as possible since after 10-15 years they dont have a college education and have to get some money in the bank so they can catch up. But its just sad, since this team could have performed way better with a few other players. But I dont like Dirk calling names in the interviews. I understand that he is mad, but he has like 100million€ in the bank and these guys are far away from that.

it all depends on his next season. I am pretty sure zipser will be drafted. I believe 2 teams were interested last year already. The question is will he take the risk and try playing in the nba or rather go for the safe job in europe

Thx for that stat page. Oha Benzing is down. I dont like his performance, but i dont want anyone to be hurt. Maybe island is bad, and germany is just so terrible that they make them look okay. I dont have much trust in the German team.

The first half looked okay to me, although i cant find live stats. I am really courious about dennis turnovers. His scoring and passing is really strong. He might be a completly new player when he joins the hawks next season.

Well turkey has a strong team, and they got pretty much homecourt advantage in Berlin aswell. Island should be last in the group. Spain and Serbia are untouchable so its 2 out of 3 with Germany, Turkey and Italy. But even 4th place is not good enough bc you will most likely face France

in the playoffs.

Well the toxic guy won't be out until he dies, he is buying the club, although that's not quite legal. At least the way he.does it isn't. The players begged for support, so they get it for the last 4 games, what will be next season is unknown atm.

We lowered the attendence until 2 games ago. Then the manager got fired and it was decided to support the team again. In the meantime 4 players signed new contracts with other teams, stating the fan atmosphere was lacking so much. Well we attended.the youth games of the club with 5k people during the time we didn't go to the real games. Usually they only get 50 people so. They were excited

Yeah it can be frustrating but you gotta realize some of us have been fans of a team who's never had real success in our entire lives and we're constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now that we're struggling you're seeing the nervous / negative posters being a lot more negative. But don't let the actions of a few keep you from enjoying the team. I don't go in the chat as just like GSU said I can't really follow the game especially when streaming... but I do enjoy the trash talking between each other in there when it's friendly. Hope you don't decide to stay out of there permanently but nobody will fault a very positive poster like yourself staying out of the chat.

Well I have been a fan of Hannover 96 all my life and just to give you a little insight what we are most known for: Our only ever International Player commited suicide. Our president is a delussional prick, who considers fans as customers and even does illegal stuff against them, so they won*t express their support to the team. We won a minor Cup in 1992, and we are problably getting relegated this year since we havent won a game for 15 straight games (a whole season is 34games so its almost 50%)... Do you think we cry about that shit? We f@cking go out ever weekend and support that club. Everybody still fears us for being one of the most hostile clubs in the world. So you cry about having a team that will never be relegated? You get treated like little princesses by your club but fail to show the positive attitude? Wow you guys got problems, not the club, but you do.

In germany you can become a fan of fc bayern munich and celebrate a title almost every year, but its way sweeter to spit in their soup once every 5 years and win a game off of them. People with nothing in their lifes obviously support munich, so they can feel as if they accomplished something. So dont drag the hawks down to your level, but let them elevate your life for those 2 hours they play on matchday.

the article states, that some players from the other team were being scouted aswell. Well time will tell if he gets his chance with the hawks.

I dont get why noone seems to trust the front office. I mean they brought the hawks to the top seed in the east. Just have a little more faith in bud.
