I offer you that i wont post on this forum or the chat until the playoffs are over if the hawks dont win 4:1. If the hawks do win you will have to sacrifice the same. You dont have to participate, but just show where your heart is at.

Why: you take away all the fun in the chat by stating out things that have been delt with in the regular season for months, and you are not contributing to the discussion, but only leading it back.

To all those lucky people being able to go to the games: Please go to them right now and support your team. Celtics fans are putting hawks fans to shame and its not even close. So how about the initial bet, if you feel you might be one of the guys i am talking about (guys flaming in the chat now, but never beeing active during the season) we can still do the no posting bet. alright since you talked money i came up with a money bet if the celtics reach MORE than a hawks 4:2 celtics i am willing to spend 1k dollars 500 to this website and 500 to a local foundation for unfortunate sick people of you choosing, If I lose I would want you to spend 500$ on this site and any amount you can/are willing to afford for that month for ANY social thing you can come up with. even if it is your church. For a 4;1 bet i would have to adjust the "use" (amount of money used for betting by a side). If you cant afford any money on the later part of the bet I would ask you to go to a hospital and spent 1 hour for every 100 dollars with terminal children! Booya! I think that is fair! Going to bed rather soon, since i am drunk and depressive so answer before tomorrows game. And to all you wanna be haters come take the posting bet?

I got really pissed at the chat last game so i want to put up a little bet. I bet if the Hawks wont win 4:1 against the irish, I will not post on this forum again for the remainder of the playoffs. I am calling out all the people that imediatly start crying after a subpar game (which wasnt even subpar).  wow dennis gets flamed during the game but after the game he is the only good player? ffs get real guys. either show up on this forum more regularly and go through all the ups and downs or just dont show up at all. I think you guys have a losers mentality. (no offense to anyone personaly) since you havent won much recently. I could give you so many examples when teams which surprised, but who cares. Just relax and enjoy these games and freaking support coach bud and his folks! how can you win if your fans are crap? Start at your own doorstep! So does anyone have the balls to take this bet (If you dont have balls i also take ovarys)! So get behind your team because its the best you gonna have and support your players.

I think your kidding right here. payton is shit since he cant even hit a freethrow, you will never be able to let him play on a playoff team.  I think thomas is a legimate pg in this league, but he comes over emotion (german saying) as many subpar players do. He will never be great, but he doesnt have to. He is prooving right now that he can win playoff games, which is really rare. Give credit where its due, but dont hype anyone aswell. Payton hasnt proven anything yet imo. Cheers.

sorry for being so unprecise. I guess this happens when you write with a not native speaker. I meant its just speculations about him having to buff up. I have 0 insight on his personal life and havent read anything, sorry to dissapoint you jbh. :D

On paper it makes sense to buff dennis up, but it can also ruin a player. Just remember dirk having to buff up to rotate to the 5 position early on in his career, he could shoot for shit. I think this is just how dennis is and it wont get better by just adding muscle. I believe he looks unfortunate and a little helpless atm which might be due to personal reasons. But its all speculations.

I've always maintained my frustration with Jeff and his Jekyll and Hyde persona.  I've never called for him to be traded for Dennis to start.  When @NBASupeswanted Dennis to start from day  1, I  called him crazy.  He said Jeff had no  court vision  and will never get it,  he said you either have  it or you don't, I disagreed.  I maybe losing my mind slowly but don't attribute stuff to me that's just not true.

We've had debates about  Korver struggles to start the season , you thought it was because of him we struggled I said it was Teague.  My reason being was a 35 yr old Korver coming  of  elbow and ankle surgery so I expected him to struggle, I didn't expect Teague to struggle. I expected him  to  take charge of the  team and when he didn't it was frustrating.

And if you think the Teague outperformed Dennis when  he was struggling then  this needs no further discussion.

I believe most of us feel that teague is capable of doing so much more on a consistent basis than what he is doing. Unfortunatly that might not really be in his arsenal, but people tend to project their hopes in him, since he is capable of so much. Its highly unfair, and people should learn to appreciate him for what he is and not for what people want him to be.  I guess its obvious i am hoping for dennis to succeed but I believe jeffs situation is so freaking hard that i sometimes hope he does get traded to a franchise where people dont project hopes in him that he cant reach, but take him for what he is and appreciate his work a little more.

there really isnt much in the german media. What i thought was a little bit interesting was him stating that he sort of "loves" the hawks and he wants to stay in ATL. He said his current situation is okay for him. That all sounds a little bit different than what i would expect of him. Overall I believe its just a slumb at the end of a long season. I saw that his bro and a friend are running his lounge, so I doubt it distracts him that much.

I think it might be a move to invest in atlanta to create jobs, so that he can get his family over easier. In Canada its 500000$ investment or the creation of 6 jobs to get a "greencard". It should be cheaper in america.

Well we cant do anything but believe in the coaches decision. Afterall its his job that is on the line if he fails badly.  I believe an older player like Korver that struggles this hard after an injury needs more playing time than if he was younger, since he needs to get his touch back and also his confidence. I would love for Dennis to get back to the spot where he was, but he can get there faster than KK atm. In germany young soccer talents sometimes get bashed from their own managers, bc they want them to mature faster. I think for a young guy like dennis, that has such a fast paced life, in a whole different country, it can be benefizial if he gets a few days off, in order to grow on a personal lvl. If I was bud, I wouldnt risk that, but i dont see dennis's everyday behaviour like he does.

well its mentioned in german basketball media, that they have no hints, but that they think that the hawks will trade him or the other backup pg. In general the "expert" i use to listen to said he believes dennis would want to stay and it would have been initiated by the hawks. Well that would really be a downer. But dont make dennis bigger than he is, he is a solid backup and a nice colorful spot on the hawks roster, but he is not yet the next big pg and might never be.

its an 8 min video about dennis. It shows mostly his family and private surroundings. I have to say he sounds freaking humble and sweet in that video:D

It is in german, and i dont think translation is that necessary, since he doesnt really talk in depth about atlanta or basketball but more about family and stuff. I hope it is watchable for you americans:D
