Monroe is a scrub. Can't play defense and is low bbiq. The hawks already have Millsap and Horford who are lightyears ahead of that guy. I'd pay Deng 4 year 11mil per year. Deng is a lite-two-way player. He would also get less minutes than chicago. That means his productivity would be better.

The hawks have Millsap, Horford, and Teague as their big three. You have to build around those guys. You need to buy quality players so they can reach into that bench and their isn't a big drop off. Thabo is just a small part of that puzzle. Also, people need to understand Atlanta Hawks isn't sexy for marquee players, and it's a small market. You need to lower your expectations. Bud is the best coach in the east, trust me on this. He doesn't play his players into the ground like some other coaches. Fresh legs for playoffs is the best method for a long run.

He might be a starter. It's better to balance the main offensive players like manu(offense) and danny green(defense). There is only one ball and they can all get shots rotating the offensive players.

I bet you were crying throughout the season, but loved the post season right? Thabo has a lot of playoff experience. A lot of people forget the intangibles.

Great signing. Those western conference players are better than their counterparts. This guy has more playoff experience than most of the players on the team. He was a starter for the 3rd best team in the NBA. If the main cogs stay healthy, I foresee a top 3 finish.
