On the good side of things - the Hawks could actually forfeit the rest of their season and STILL be in the playoffs. :) That's a HELL of a luxury to have @ the halfway point!

Suck City tonight. February ain't doing too well...

I hope you're right. The last (well almost now) 5 quarters have sucked beyond reason (going back to the 4th against Boston). The term "live by the 3, die by the 3" has never hit home harder. I know it's one of those nights, but usually there are better adjustments.

First time they've really pissed me off this year. Honestly? I think this may have been the best lesson of the season.

I don't want to play GS in any playoff series, and they don't want us. I don't think either group of fans can live through 7 games of what we saw! Don't know if I've ever been prouder of this team, and I've been a hardcore fan for 43 years. :)

I laughed. It was the Pistons for a long time for me. Now I kind of feel their "pain & joy" after kicking Josh out. So now - I guess it might be the Warriors (since they think they're better)...

Anybody ever notice how when Jerome & Mike hardly ever had anybody stand behind them after the game? Tonight it looked like College Football Gameday. :D That's cool. Some might look at it as bandwagoners (to which some are), but I think it's mostly just long-timers happier than pigs in poop. Fun, fun, fun season so far!

Thunder comes back a little, and the Hawks just keep pushing them back. Great game - still. I know why the West is scared of the Thunder coming back to life...

HELL of a good note to end the first half on. Wow. Man - even a year ago, the Hawks would have folded and this one would have been over. They don't quit. Great game going on! Props to the Thunder as well. Best defense I've seen played against the Hawks this year...

Ya know - if this isn't a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", I don't know what is. Ray's a good shooter (no denying that), but defensively, he's not on the level of being a Hawk right now. He's too damned old to be! You suddenly take away some playing time from somebody like Bazemore - then friction will start. Then Bazemore is going to feel more compelled to take more shots and press harder - which might not work out too well. This is a fine tuned machine right now. If I had to nit-pick, I wouldn't mind seeing a big body who could clean up the boards a little more, but 28 wins out of the last 30 really doesn't have me too concerned right now. :)
