We just changed hosting providers. You're ISP should recieve a DNS update within 72 hours. We shouldnt have any more bandwidth problems for a long time.

Thats a fantastic idea. I'm not too keen on the popups, but a banner or two would be fine. I'm doing some research on it.

Hawksquawk has outgrown its current host already, and is 2-3 days short of being out of bandwidth for the month. Sometime within the next 2-3 days we will be moving to a new hosting provider. They forums shouldnt be down long at all. You may not even notice anything has changed. However, since our current host is on the far west coast, and our new host is on the east cost, in Atlanta, you probably will experience MUCH faster browsing speeds. We want to thank all the contributors that kept this crucial time from turning into a crisis. Your names will be on an upcoming Hawksquawk Honorary page. To date, we managed to raise enough funds to cover the setup fee and two months on the new host. Lets hope we make it ok through the start of the season. Lets go Hawks!!

Sorry it has come to this We are 9 days into the month, and Hawksquawk has allocated 3/4's of our allowed bandwidth for the month, and unless we upgrade, the site will become inoperative sometime during this month, and then reactivated at the beginning of next month. Most of the admins here have chipped in as much as possible upwards of hundreds of dollars. Due to this, future features such as the Season Predictions has been postponed until we can get ahead in bandwidth. Its now up to you to keep us up and running 30 days a month. The new site has had a great response from the community, and we didnt anticipate our resouces being drained this quickly. If you would like to make a donation, there is a link at the bottom of each screen next to the Hawk that says "donate". Our current method of payment is Paypal, but if you wish to mail a check or something, that can be arranged. If you make a donation of at least $10, you will receive a free Hawksquawk.net email address, a "Hawksquawk Supporter" title, and a custom signature graphic for your posts. In addition you'll be automatically entered in any future contests, raffles, or giveaways. Sorry, this is all we have to offer at this time. Trivia is based on facts, and facts arent facts if they arent true. Thats why they have jobs called Fact Checkers. But I think Trivia could be really intersting. I would be willing to write a whole interface around it, providing that everything is up to date and factual. See what you can do for a list of questions/answers. But they ALL need to be verified. If anyone else has a comment on Trivia, please let us hear it.
