Ok Tobias is debatable I’ll give you that! But Julius is making less than Jc while being the significantly better Talent! Randle won’t even make 30 mil a year in his new contract! He’ll make 25mil,27mil,29mil in the final year! how is that a bad contract?? It sure as hell is a better contract than Jc’s imo!

Yeah because I believe Tobias and Julius can carry an offense from time to time and jc can’t. Draymond is debatable but I think he brings more to the table(defense, reb etc) than Jc Does!

Idk about Jc being a top 10 Pf. I can name 10-13 better than him that make 1/10 of what he makes. He’d definitely on the cusp though.

Listen Randles not as good as he was in his mip season neither is he as bad as he was last season. either way as an individual talent he his head & shoulders above Jc. I know as hawks fans we can tend to be bias but I’m just being honest here.

Yeah but when it comes to the playoffs you need 1 or 2 guys that you can hand the ball to and say get me a bucket. We only have 1 in Trae. You can do that with Randle but Jc can’t imo. watching these finals in particular illuminates the need for iso scorer’s.

I never said Trae comes up small in the playoffs. I said it’s hard to win with smaller guards like Trae in the playoffs. again I never said build around Julius. I said Julius as the 2nd or 3rd option would be great on any team. You guys need to take the rose colored glasses off and face reality.

We’ve been back and forth about this earlier in the thread. I don’t think jc can create for himself offensively to the degree that Randle can. You can(even though I don’t suggest it)build your offense around Julius and be somewhat decent and not terrible. You can’t do that with Jc. Jc can not and most likely never be able to be good enough for an offense to be built around him. He can fit better into a team oriented offense better than Julius can but that’s about it. Kind of off topic but I’m kind of envious of the Celtics/ Knicks in terms of home court. we’ll never have an atmosphere like MSG or the Boston garden. Venues like that show you the real advantage of having home court! The warriors organization in particular draymond looked rattled!

The Knicks are desperate! They aren’t getting a star in fa or by trade! The only shot they have is on the draft! I get it from there point of view! we have our foundation piece/ franchise guy! they’re just trying all out to get there guy!

I think you guys are misunderstanding what I said. Knicks are trading 3 unprotected picks to move from 11 to 4. the only pick portlands trading is 7th(goes to the kings)while they receive 11 and Julius Randle. That’s a hell of a haul for the kings imo. To get 3 future unprotected picks from a team like the Knicks and to still get a lottery pick in the draft at 7 would be a great haul.
