Budenholzer is a very good coach.

He wasnt a good fit with Walker and Jefferson. And the Clippers organisation is just a joke really. Nvm the city and that situation being benched. In Indiana he had a countryboy mentality around him and Larry Bird. I think Bud & Co could bring him back to life when of course all kinds of variables come in to fruition. I would talk and be frank with Lance and see how he feels about our demands.
He has a horrible IQ and is a complete fundamental wasteland. Just like Josh Smith.
No to both ideas.

He's busy going down as one of the worst trades ever in team history. We gave up the 15th pick on a draft for a guy whose played as much as I have this season. They won't even send him to the D league to at least get some kind of playing time.
Yeah. I mean why give anything some time?

You just think his accent is seggsy.
Well that, too.

Mark Zumoff on the 76ers broadcasts is really good.
My favorite sit-in on a broadcast for the Hawks has been Thabo. He has a natural gift for talking on a microphone.

I will never understand why fans need people on TV and the internet to say nice things about the teams they like.
Stop watching studio shows. Watch the games and soak in your own observations.

It can be said of anyone who has played one minute of action and gotten 1 anything. 1 point = 36 points per 36. 1 rebound = 36 rebounds per 36. No need to mention Edy in the same breath as Thabeet!
Didn't mean to compare the two players. I know the person who posted it was meant in humor. I thought it was funny that someone used that same type of measure to lobby for getting Thabeet.

I checked Tavares' numbers and he's at 36 rebounds per36. Play the man!
Sadly, this was the same thing that was being said in support of Thabeet years ago. Happened right here on this board.

Korver had seven rebounds last night. For a guy in the SG position, that's really good.

Yeah...the jerseys are awful. Must have been a focus group of twelve year olds.

Pro athletes don't go to jail, silly!

This is not a hate on nique string ... he is the Hawks.
Not anymore. He is a Gearon guy. My opinion of him has diminished a lot in this whole mess.
-
This whole thing makes me want Nique gone, too. I have no issue with moving on from the "old Hawks" way. He was right to at least try to get him some training for his broadcasting role. He needs it badly.

I couldn't watch Carmelo Anthony in a Hawks uniform. Never liked his attitude or his game.

I live in South Central PA. I am the only NBA fan for miles.

His work at the Gold Club was unmatched.

My buddy was recently carjacked outside Cumberland/Galleria. Ergo... watch out, Bravos fans!

With so much GPS out there, why would anyone steal a car or a cell phone? You might as well just tell the cops where you're headed.

Copeland is a no-effort guy. He moves about as fast as the seasons. No thanks on him.

Funny, I live in the second largest city in Georgia on the "wrong" side of town according to my co workers. All my neighbors but one are black in the cul de sac I live in. Care to try again?
The area around the arena is not safe. If you have to drive in and not take MARTA you will see some rough parts of town. I've had people that were clearly eying my car up and tried to car jack me more than once going to games. Even more funny, I guess, is that here in Columbus I got almost car jacked after I had to leave my wife in the hospital and that hospital is definitely in a bad part town of town.
So yeah, personal experience tells me all I need to know about the area around the arena and GD.
I have rolled through these places with my PA plates and never once have I felt unsafe. I mean, I am a very intimidating 5'8” and white as scotch tape, but still.

I've always found it interesting that you can't actually see the Great Wall of China from space. Just an old wives' tale.
I know, but just go with the bit.

Things you can see from space: The Luxor, Great Wall of China, that shirt.

They really seem to want to move Mike Scott and bring in Ashley long term over at Peachtree Hoops.
And I'm pretty sure Bud is in love with Pettaway's shot form.
Mike Scott has a guaranteed contract. Not happening.
Things that piss me off about the hawks

"Great" is just like "elite". It's a bullshit term meant to fill minutes on Disney Channel Sports. It's meaningless. Budenholzer is a very good coach. In a world where there are maybe 5-10 very good coaches, you go with that guy.
