Old pic, but have had this for years. Healed well, have lots of other things around it now.

Does anyone know anything about the new material or bought a swing man jersey lately? Thanks in advance.
Starting this season, the NBA logo is now located just below the neck on the back of the jersey rather than over the heart.
Based on what you said, it sounds like the cheaper jersey you saw was an older version (which also includes our previous alternate logo)

The Surrender of Atlanta to Union troops was 150 years ago on September 2.

AJC keeps a running log of Atlanta-area and Georgia events through next month, including reenactments at Tunnel Hill, Hampton (Battle of Atlanta), Andersonville, and Newnan (Battle of Brown's Mill).

The site of the surrender is very close to my house. Right at the mid-point between my house and Philips arena, in fact.

I'd also like to Add that as many others have mentioned, Brookhaven is a fantastic place to live. I grew up there and now that they are their own city w/ their own police force - it seems to be very safe. You'll fall under DeKalb Co. schools, which aren't great, but aren't bad (I turned out OK). Brookhaven is close to the shopping and nightlife of Buckhead, but quiet enough to raise a family in peace. It's also accessible to 85 and 400. After College I lived in Lindbergh and Buckhead before I bought my house and loved both.

I live in Midtown, literally 5-10 minutes from everything. I'm not on the main drag so traffic is rarely ever a factor for me. If I had to pick a place to live OTP, it would definitely not be Gwinnett - the traffic up there is just nuts, and your commute will be awful (Assuming your office is actually in Atlanta-Atlanta). If you're looking to live OTP, Mableton seems to be a very cost-effective place to live. It's West, and easily accessible to I-20 and 285. From what I've heard the schools are pretty good, lots of house for your money, and most importantly, 20 minutes or so to a Hawks game :-)

I came, I saw, I LOL'd at that ranking order.
I'd like to re-visit this thread around the all-star break just for giggles.

Notice the new home Uni no longer says 'Hawks', it's 'Atlanta' on both the home and the road now.

I just caught episode 1 on a plane back to Atlanta and liked it. I'm 2 eps away from being done w/ True Detective, so I'll commit to Penny Dreadful next.
I like it so far though!
I feel like we're in a golden age of television right now... so many incredibly high-production value shows out there.

Absolutely loved that show. Ironically watched the last few episodes on fine plane to Minnesota a few weeks ago.
Just started 'True Detective' and I'm really into it as well.

I will riot if.we stash again
No sarcasm intended here... Do you legitimately think a player can be had in this draft at 15 that will have a bigger winning impact now, than a coveted player like Saric (That will only get better) might in 2-3 years?
-
Afflalo just landed in Denver, could have an impact on them taking Saric ahead of us.

@ATLJA316 Interesting - so which books have the 4 seasons covered so far. I guess I can read the 1st book to catch up?
It's hard to keep up with exactly what has and hasn't been covered, but I want to say season 3 was borrowing from books 4 and 5. season 4 continued to do the same. There are a few story lines in the show that aren't in sync w/ how things play out in the books - but they are unrelated, so it doesn't cause any kind of issues.
When you read the first book, you'll find that it's like re-living season 1, book 2, so on, so forth. Can't quite remember where things started getting out of sync.

Would it be weird to think that our system continued to 'grow' throughout the Finals? Bud was surely tuned in, seeing the team he coached for 17 years absolutely dismantle the Heat through passing and teamwork. Hopefully our players were seeing the same thing, as well as FA's and their agents.
Remember, lead the NBA in assists when we were healthy, and we were right at the top throughout the whole season. That passing mentality we saw on display in the Finals is already here... we just need a little polish on it.

I'm sure the books are amazing and much better than the show even, I just don't wanna ruin the show now after 4 seasons since I look forward to it so much. Right now I still have no idea what's coming, other than winter.
I can totally understand that. I read all of the books between the season 3 and 4 gap and loved every minute of it. It's kind of added an extra dynamic to the show-watching experience. Slight looks between characters that I otherwise would have missed are there in broad daylight. Tons of foreshadowing that I can now make sense of. Pretty cool how they give those little tidbits to the booker readers.

Hell no they'd ruin the show, if such a thing existed.
I didn't even think about that. Disregard.

9 months is a long time to wait... what if there were books that told us what was going to happen next? That would be sweet.

The twitter account of the Hawks is really great. It gets the Hawks recognized and is all very fun.
People need to lighten up.
Yup!

Right you are, and they do not!

I don't know that I would call it an embarrassing moment for the franchise. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours, but players drop 50 points from time to time. I don't think it's a product of a bad team, but more a combination of player A's stellar evening and team B's off night. From time to time, stars do align.
It's not something we can really draw from as a fan base ourselves, as we haven't had a player score 50 in quite some time. When it does happen though, I think the general perception is turned towards that players amazing evening - not the other way around.
Kobe's 81 might be a little different from the Raptor's perspective, but the event is looked at as kobe scoring 81... not the raptors allowing 81 from Kobe.
-
I have several friends that have gone down this route - I think you just have to be comfortable with the fact that that new episode of 'XYZ' that everyone is talking about might not be available to you - and it is what it is...
-
he ruined everything with me that day
I RT'd some of it and my friends that aren't even Hawks fans were appalled.
Please tell me there is sarcasm here...

I thought I still had my Chuck Norris Hawks one, but it’s gone... oh well...
