Isn't it exactly the same for many college players? I imagine that not everyone who supports a draft candidate has seen them play in an actual game. International players are a lot like High Schoolers used to be in the draft. They are drafted purely off highlight reels and scouting reports .

I would consider it. Charlie V is a natural PF and does have a few post moves unlike JSmoove. Charlie is a better shooter than JSmoove but is known to have poor defence. The Hawks would have to draft Aldridge or Shelden if this trade went down. If JSmoove left it could have an impact on the already poor attendance for the Hawks but if it makes the team better the crowds will come.

I like Rondo and think he should be the Hawks pick if Aldridge is off the board. Despite the need for a PG Rajon went to High School with JSmoove. He can just ba another incentive for Smith to stay here when he is a FA. BK loves players with long wingspans right? I read somewhere that his armspan is longer than Smith's! And he's incredible rebounder too add to his passing. He's outside shot needs a little work but that is something that can be improved.

Thanks for the input guys. And no my names got noting to do with Brendan Haywood. Heywood is my nickname at school. I just thought claxton would be a good fit but i love Marcus Banks as well. He is tearing it up with the wolves. I live in Australia btw so I don't get to see any Hawks games but follow them religiously over the net. They do show a lot of College games over here though so I have seen a lot of draft candidates. Oh and Joel Pryzibilla has said he would love to stay in Portland and money doesn't matter. So really no chance. I know I'm gonna be slaughtered for this but why not Francis the Magic are looking to trade him like crazy.

Hey guys this is my first post so be kind. Over the off season I think the Hawks should target Speedy Claxton as he is just what this team needs. He would fit great with all our young quick guys and is excellent at handling the fast break. A sign and trade for Harrington wouldn't be a bad idea. To solve the big man problem I think the hawks should draft Aldridge out of Texas. He is an interior force and from what I've seen has the ability to play centre. I think Childress could slide over to SF and share minutes with MWill until he is ready to be a star. J Smoove is looking more and more like a PF every day and he definately has potential to be a post player, he just needs to develop some back to the basket moves. A good experienced PF could be taken in the 2nd round someone like Killingsworth from Indiana would be a good back up.
